I like this show because it can give insight into how a bad shoot can go down. It's not always blatant racism sometimes it's just bad Intel and even worse timing.

Yupe
Da laca nombre
He had issues with pay, that’s why their characters butted heads plenty of times before he left, he was written out of a season I thomkn
The character Elliot's wife,Cathy, was very pretty, too, and he loved her and his 5 children so much! He had a certain love for Liv, obviously, but I think she had stronger feelings for him, and maybe some guilt about it because he was a married man. It is a shame the actor left, because their partnership was the best, most real team up ever! But, Mariska is such a phenomenal actress that she and the rest of the cast have kept the show going very successfully for several years now since the Elliot character left!
You are an idiot. Stabler was married. Olivia would never degrade herself
“Snitches get stitches” can turn into
“They don’t care about our community” real quick …
Thugs: The police don't care about us
Also thugs: Snitches get Stitches
Any rational person: And you wonder why they don't care? 😒
@@Lost_idiot223 So cops should just not solve crimes because they’re offended and the community doesn’t do their job for them? God you bootlickers are so intelligent.
Lemme guess no gun.
That's why that black kid earlier said "why u gonna shoot him?" and they did just that.
They had probable cause
@Shem Casimir one person before stated the guy had a gun. That's why they locked the area down. A known rapist and attacker, known to be aggressive and thought to have a weapon. That's the thought process that they follow.
@@kimrobbins3318 he was also wearing exactly what the kid at the basketball court described. they had no way of knowing whether or not that guy was being set up or if he was the person they were looking for
London M all the more reason to not just gun down...when u legitimize why they kill ppl...u give them a pass. Cops should be required to think on the move instead of just attack like broken dogs. They shot that kid twice in the back on the assumption he had a gun...no clear evidence...and we as the ppl allow them to chuck it up to the game as if there truly is game being played. Next, it could be someone close to u (God 4bid) but if so, remember, it’s all part of the game
@@StatusQuo001 You didn't address any of London M's points, and the cops and there is no way to determine whether that person has a gun, and if they did, it would have been too late where they may have pointed it at the officer. So either way, they had to minimize the damage. It's either the cop takes a shot that, at best, is intended not to kill in comparison to potentially the suspect taking shots with the intention of killing. Look, it's not a great situation, for anybody, but it's what happened.

Barba was right here. The cops themselves are not racist or bad intentioned, however bad procedure and training has landed cops in these situations that could have been avoided. Police need better training and this episode shows exactly this. And i won't act like racial bias did not play a role here, however this does not mean the shooting officers are racist.
The fact that the cops in the bar except for one of them lacked sympathy/empathy speaks enough for the problem this country faces today. Police's state of training needs to be improved and there needs to be training specific for each community they serve. Connections with the community and everyday citizens would be key to understanding and a step to tackling this large issue.
I do think that punishment is necessary for the police officers and families affected, but i believe that the punishment should extend from those officers to the systems itself. The officers are not solely responsible. This was a wonderful episode that depicted both sides of this argument with good faith and showed the reality of the USA's state of police. We need to think past the officers and begin to look to the system in order to begin dismantling these problems.

Ok So why did they handcuff him although he seems dead on the ground and plus where is his freaking gun ??
Until he's confirmed dead, they have to treat the suspect as alive, which means cuffs, and it means immediately securing the weapon.

Honestly I still think it wrong to shoot unarmed man but come on. He fit the description of the suspect that was considered armed and dangerous, he ran from the police even after they identified themselves as police, and he moved his arms and hands in the way someone would pull a armed weapon and fire. The only thing I see wrong unfortunately is firing more than necessary. Second let say in a real life situation the suspect the police are pursuing is the guy guilty of major crimes.
