I wondering if you could help a person out. I was born in North Dakota/ Minnesota area but moved down to texas. I grew up snowmobiling but I always road the really old artic cat snowmobile that sounded like it was gonna blow up at any moment. But I’m moving back to Minnesota and am gonna be around a lot of trails. Is there a good snowmobile to start out with coming back into it the is good for trail and maybe mountain riding?
@@hippymate_w_3961 I’m a die hard skidoo guy. Nothing like the doo 850s if you want a do it all machine I’d say your best bet would be an 850 146 backcountry. 2in lug if you’re gunna ride out west. They feel good on the trail and can hold their own out west. Any shorter and you’ll struggle in the mountains and any longer and you’ll hate your life on the trails.
@@hippymate_w_3961 I also went with the Sled head racing clutch kit. Super easy to change weights and good performance out west and back home. They will help you get setup perfect for your weight and where you are planning on riding too. Wish I was sponsored but I’d go out of my way to talk him up. ibackshift has a good kit and is super helpful too but I prefer the sled head ramp/weight setup.
Thank you
The pleasure is mine.
Your a good brother.
I just rode Carrot basin this same day just north of there. Snow was definitely a little deeper but had no base and was that same sugar snow.
A weird season. That's for sure. Glad to see people are still getting out!
Was this near 2 top?
A wiseman never tells his secrets.. but yeah. Haha, south of Two top.
@@SmokeyFromThe715 looked like it. I've hit a few trees in that area over the years lol
@@JakeLieble haha, join the club. That area is unforgiving. Good eye though!
Other than my ego caught me off gaurd
