    Man, so nice to have the heated seat!! Wish there was a trail open within 1000 miles of Mn. Looks like you’ll be getting some good snow in the next few days.

      Hey Greg,
      Thanks for stopping by.. Yes… two things I never thought I’d love so much on a snowmobile would be power steering and a heated seat. Looks like they’re predicting 3 snowy weather events starting Wednesday night on through Monday. Let’s hope at least a couple of those happen. It’d be nice to ride the sled atleast once before spring. 😩 Take Care buddy 🤙🏼 and THINK SNOW ❄

    Very nice. I guess one thing that should be made clear to viewers is that the trails in Northern Maine are owned in large part by paper companies, who harvest timber to produce paper. They own the land, and thus the logging roads that they let us use for snowmobile trails. Logging operations may seem like a big inconvenience for us, but we need to respect them. Thanks for producing nice videos from the County.

    • @SometimeIsNow
      @SometimeIsNow  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hey doucetrr, I couldn’t agree more.. Most all the snowmobile trails in upper Maine are forest roads. There’s so many private land owners that allow the snowmobile trails through their property and it should be respected and appreciated for sure.👍🏼 If anything the logging truck drivers find “us” as snowmobilers a nuisance when riding on their log roads. lol
      Thanks for watching !! 🤙🏼

    Nice video! I believe you also have an Extreme Max lift for your sled? I have one and the jack just failed on me and I had a heckuva time getting the sled down. They are replacing it under warranty, but I’m not sure if it’s a common problem. I only lifted my sled probably a dozen times before it failed. Do you use an impact driver when lifting the sled or do you use the hand crank that they provide?
    I appreciate any feedback you can offer. Thanks much.

    • @SometimeIsNow
      @SometimeIsNow  9 месяцев назад

      Hey Jpaul,
      I do have the Extreme Max lift and like yours, my jack failed just before Christmas and I had to buy a new jack for mine. I always felt like the jack portion was binding when lifting the heavier 4 Stroke sleds so I took it all apart and looked it over and didn’t find anything that stood out. I grease everything really good and reassembled and still just didn’t feel smooth when lifting. It finally failed and bound up and wouldn’t go either way so I sh*tcanned it. Bought a new jack off Amazon and it’s amazing now.
      www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0815W4L4B/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
      I can tell this one is so much smoother acting and it’s been working great. I don’t use an impact when lifting. I use a Dewalt DW130V for lifting and lower the ole T-Cat. That drill is made for heavy work as it’s designed with a low 0-550rpm and for mixing drywall mud. Works prefect for running the jack on the Extreme Lift.
      Take Care 🤙🏼

      @@SometimeIsNow thank you for the Intel, I appreciate it. I emailed extreme Max and they are shipping me a replacement under warranty, they are warranted for two years. It looks like the one on Amazon is still produced by extreme max, I wonder if they have improved the design since yours is working so much better now. I don’t have the aluminum lift, I have the steel one which is a slightly different Jack, I believe the jacks are the same however, the connection point is different but I believe the Jack itself is the same.

      @@SometimeIsNow Greg, I’m still waiting to hear back. They shipped me a jack for the Aluminum lift where I need the one for the steel lift. They appear to be the same jack except the location on the jack where it attaches to the lift is different. I can mount the Aluminum jack to my lift, it just will not lower the lift to lay flat, it about 5” high. If they don’t want the jack for the Aluminum returned you are welcome to it. If we get snow I may go to Tug next week. John

      @@Iluvboostedsleds Recording in 4k is nice but when you go to upload a 15 or 20 min+ video to RUclips it takes hours for that large of a file. Most people watch RUclips on their phones or tablets and 4k really can’t be noticed much on the smaller screens. I watch RUclips on my 65” tv and do notice a difference in recording in 2.7k or 4k
      But for the majority 2.7k or 1080 is all thats needed really. 👍🏼
