Unpopular but Dark Water and Death in Heaven is a great series finale. I like it because it was very dark and felt like more than a Doctor Who episode, which also is what caused it to get hundreds of complaints 😆. However my favourite finale, I will always be torn between 'Bad Wolf' & 'The Parting of the Ways' or 'Army of Ghosts' and 'Doomsday'.

people get hell bent wrong to begin with you are on the doctors side but it is about the doctor going to far and the consequences are he probably cannot go back to Gallifrey he would be a criminal they probably don't track him down out of respect for what he has done in the time war and to save Gallifrey then he loses his memories of Clara his best friend and potentially oldest companion with her going through his time line, the doctor is the bad guy in this episode he breaks his own rules with time felling he is owed a favour from the universe and even shoots the presidents officer yes he says they can regenerate and its like man flu but the 10th doctor even said regenerating you are still dying and some new man goes walking on so your personality is gone which is part of what makes everyone and every doctor unique, as well he takes revenge against rassilon which is another one of his rules and he tricks high council to get what he wants he does not help them which is what the doctor does may not be a well executed story but you are not meant to be on doctor side in this, also edited to add the reason Clara why she died is because the doctor said he is just less breakable so it makes perfect sense through season 9 setting up Clara is becoming to much like the doctor for her to be another version of him with her journey just beginning like the 1st doctor ( off memory i think she even said it me no idea how to fly this thing) and some day she will need to return to Gallifrey to die (but we don't know since it is destroyed again) like maybe someday the doctor will die though we will probably never see it, btw love the podcast btw

no guys please don't tell me you now like the timeless children ok yes things have change over time but the core story the doctor is a time lord from galifrey who travel through time and space that the core story the timeless children went against that

The Doctor was ambiguously human and from the 49th century for 6 years. Time Lords only became a thing in the final Patrick Troughton story.
