I wish Japanese beauty put the manufacture/expiration dates on their products like Korean beauty does. In fact...I wish all brands would.

I’m more impressed with Curel’s Japanese skincare line, which have flown under the radar in the US but their products are the best. I’d suggest looking into that for a review.

I stop using Japanese products. I went on Amazon looking for a good Japanese green tea. One brand said low radiation. Then I remembered the tsunami that Japan had 12 years ago. It caused their nuclear power plant to go into a melt down. They stopped it with sea water and now are dumping the radioactive sea water back into the ocean. Japan around the size of California and radiation is all over that island.

The gold label is just a premium version of the white label featuring two additional molecular weights of hyaluronic acid. It's not a soothing line as you referenced. Just an fyi!

I've tried the white and gold, and they all were just OK HA essences or serums, imo. The gold one has more molecular sizes of HA than the white, but I didn't notice a difference. I used them both up, twice daily, every day (first the white, then gold). At night I used it after my essence, before my .3% prescription Differin. But over time I didn't need that buffer, so I moved on to K Beauty toners and essences.

I purchased all of those lotions a few years ago. I ended up just using them on the body.

I love the premium version of the brightening, I use both the toner and lotion and I do think they’re helpful in my ongoing pigmentation battle.
Sarah, I know you struggle with hyperpigmentation also, have you ever considered laser treatments? I am contemplating BBL hero to fade my sunspots but I’ve never had any serious treatments and I’m kinda scared so am researching like crazy.

Hada Labo was the very first brand I tried before getting into k beauty, I’ve only tried the gold premium one with 5 types of HA, my poor face could not hack all that HA along with the perfect gel cream😳funny enough any products that don’t work out on my face, goes on my body.

I’m going to Tokyo today. What Hada Labo products are your favorite? Particularly a night cream or mask and a vitamin c serum?

Looks like you have on video Alfa milk version of Alfa red line . It's actually a different product, it's more like lotion not toner. And new one have different name and list of ingredients. The review is a bit confusing. I have alfa toner and milk and updated one is very different actually. But anyway all of tgem are nice. Thank you for review.

Do you think, out of interest, there are enough anti-aging ingredients to really call it anti-aging!? (If you know what I mean). 😂 Sometimes I think there doesn't seem much out of the ordinary in some of these anti-aging products! Thanks.

    • @lisalalalisa174
      @lisalalalisa174 Год назад

I meant to add that to my comment. Yeah, I don't see why they called it antiaging. And it definitely doesn't have anything to reverse ageing!

All I can add to this is
.. I've been using this brand for a long time.... very versatile... fragrance free and alcohol free...
I don't believe they use essential oils..... with exception of the Melano cc??

The lotion for anti-aging doesn't really absorb well sadly....... It's worse with the milk which pills.

I am pretty sure the CC one is a totally different company then the others they just use the same bottles . I saw a Japanese vlog ware she was shopping and say people get that confused because of that.

I think you're both right, I think the melano cc is rhoto mentholatum but not the hada labo branch of that brand now that I remember it.

You certainly can- it isn't super strong compared to other retinoid products. I would start with using it every other night for a month or so and then if your skin handles it okay move up to using it every night.
