From casual sexism like being called “fresh meat” to more serious claims such as assault and rape, a Fifth Estate investigation has found a culture of sexism in the Ottawa Police Service that raises questions about how complaints are investigated, and in some cases, according to victims, even suppressed. CBC’s Judy Trinh exposes a problem that is appearing in police forces across the country.
