@mikekimble4580 ruclips.net/user/shortsAmjqlj-KZ90?feature=share this is the video with the lava cake. The video is so-so, I need to do another one, now that I have improved a tiny bit with production. This will give you an idea
Just picked up one of these and made 2x Egg McMuffins today. TBH, I didn't expect results as good as I got on the first try. They were quite good. I find that spilling in the egg slowly creates less spill over, since the egg will begin to harden before any can ooze out the sides.. Tomorrow I am going to try your omelette recipe.
It's good to hear that you picked up one. It's easy to use and very convenient. The more familiar you get with the device, the more you will experiment. The omelette was good and I also made a lava cake. You should try and make one. That was easy also. Let me know how your omelette came out. Thank you for watching, and I appreciate it and also your feedback with your use of the device
The omelette was superb, and thanks again for the idea(s). Next on the list are biscuit=bacon, and cheese breakfast sandwiches...So much better than the fast food stuff.@@drutubekitchen
@jeffme6891 no problem, if you come up with some ideas just let me know, I may want to try. I was hoping I could make pancakes on it somehow. Haven't figured it out yet. I agree, so much better than fast food
I got one and the results are excellent: a few hints. 1. Cut the corners off the cheese if you're using cheese. 2. Slightly scramble the egg if doing an egg-topped sandwich. I haven't have the egg spill and you can either fold in the corners of the cheese or cut them off and give them to the dog. Next up: a Denver omelet sandwich.
Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm!! Just got one of these gadgets for Xmas. Your recipe looks great!! Going to have to try it!! I can taste it now - bacon and Swiss omelette, Taylor Ham and American omelette!!! The possibilities are endless!!!!! 🥚🧀🥓
The possibilities are endless. Not sure if you check the video out I have that I made a Lava Cake using the Sandwich Maker. That would go well for a dessert after that Sandwich with the Taylor Ham which I never heard of but when I looked it up just now, I have seen it and never took a moment to see what it actually was. Let me know how your omelette goes. If you have other ideas, let me know please
Also, great idea for doing a super omelette, no need for muffins if I'm at home. I think this thing can do more than people think, I'll keep looking for more things to try.
Seems like I may have just made a damn good purchase. I bought the double one and it has a timer built into it. I can make 2 of these at the same time if I wanted.
I would say you made a damn good purchase. It's very easy to use, and once you get used to it, you'll try to figure out what else you can make using it. I'm trying to figure out what else I can use it for. I've made a lava cake and also a pizza using Boboli Pizza Crust. If you ever come up with something new, please let me know
@@drutubekitchen It just arrived this morning and the only issue I had is the muffin was too crispy its a problem because I have no teeth. I think I will maybe be able to start the egg cook them for 3 to 4 mins than slip the muffin in for 1 or 2 mins but omelette is not a bad idea either or maybe a western even.
@KoolBreeze420 that sounds like it will work, cooking eggs first, then the muffins. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. If you run out of muffins, use the rings to cut your bread slices into circles.
@@drutubekitchen Thanx I think Ijust newed to get the timing on the bread whether its toast or muffins cause they have to be at just the right amount of toasted that I can eat. I wasn't expecting the muffins to crisp up like it did. Mcdonalnds muffins are more on the chewy side and when I makes them with my toaster over I cook only one side for about 5 to 6 mins just enough that they are warm but a bit chewy. The other thing I noticed was that when using the thin cheese slices the cheese is far to melty. I'm thinking of trying as I said put the egg in then cook it for say 3.5 to 4 mins it shouldn't be runny at that point then slip in the muffins cheese and meat. The sausage patties I use are precooked and take 45 seconds in the microwave. I guess it will take a bit of experimentation on my end it has nothing to do with te machine itself. It's just I have to keep things as chewy as I can so I can eat them. My dnetures don't work there is some weird thing with my over bight that makes it so they don't function for anything more then cosmetic use. Kinda wish I had known that before removing my teeth. I can't afford implants so I have to cook around it. The fact that I can even eat hamburgers and muffins with no teeth is pretty cool not sure if everyone can but I'm able to.
Yes, the bread is crispy. A little experimenting will help for sure. Maybe, lay some parchment paper down between the bread and surface, which will help some. I do understand your issues with your teeth, I have a few relatives that have dentures. It's a challenge at times to eat certain things. I hope you can get the timing right with your muffins/bread. It's going to be some trial and errors. I'm sure you will figure it out soon. Maybe you need to add butter to the muffin before cooking it?
I know, it seems like a gimmick, but I got one today, the dual version. I made four McMuffins already, and I really think I will use it quite a bit. It can cook me sandwiches while I'm getting ready for work. A lot of times, I skip breakfast, because fast food and gas station prices are ridiculous. Plus, it will save me time, will be fresher, and I can put whatever I want in them. Look for the bags of frozen peppers&onions at the store, one little bag will last a long time!
I agree it does alot more than just sandwiches. The Mcmuffin is just the intro to the device . I made a lava cake using it and in one of my ramen videos i made a ramen bun for a chicken sandwich. Share some ideas with me, I'm always looking for some. Thanks for checking out my video and your feedback
It's a versatile device. More than sandwiches for sure. Do you have a Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker or planning on buying one. I think it's worth the purchase
It's better to have one of these because it makes a lot bigger mess cooking on the stove top. My cousin used to make breakfast videos and he was crazy about Bacon and would brag about how much Bacon used. His friend found him dead in his apartment he died from a massive heart attack. His mama and daddy lived to be elderly and I'm sure he probably thought he would do the same.

I like a man who knows his gadgets.
I was getting bored making sandwiches and decided to try this. This works great! I had my toast on the side with a little jelly.
I made a lava cake using it also. I haven't made one in a while. You should try it out one day.

Love that you can make stuff like omelets on it. Not always sandwiches.
It's pretty versatile, i made a lava cake that turned out really good
@@drutubekitchen oh wow. Maybe I need a sandwich maker.
@A definitely! Maybe you just was doing something wrongnas you mentioned previously

Update. Made a perfect sausage egg cheese sandwich when I got my sandwich Maker!! Wondering if veggie burgers would work.......

Great hack!!
Thanks, this was more successful than using a Ramekin
Awesome
I shall ask Santa 🎅 for one of these 🎁
Once you get the hang of it, you'll enjoy using it
Was made with 2 eggs
@@rtb03791 Correct, two eggs were scrambled separately.
Bought one. More work than a skillet. More messy. Threw it away.
How many times did you use it?

Sorry to hear about your friend. I do eat bacon, but not so often.
By the why, I agree this does make less mess than on the stove top
Looks sexy 😂🎉
🤣 I agree
