If you are interested in any of the equipment I'm using, check out my new page Turf and Tools / @turfandtools where I review equipment that I am sent and use. If you'd like to send something for me to show, send me an e-mail timthelawnmowerman@gmail.com
Hi! My name is Tim The Lawnmower Man and I love to clean up overgrown yards and make fun videos doing it. I'm able to do them for free as these videos have ads on them and the revenue from that enables me to cover my cost.
I'm always looking for the worst yards around. Sometimes I drive around looking for them, sometimes viewers send me suggestions.

I have to wonder if those commenting on what YOU need to do at your house(cobb webs, overhead light replacement, tree trimming etc.,) is done at their OWN homes?!?! I think your property looks GREAT--very tidy, clean and organized!
Garage still needs some organising for sure!
Most likely people that don't own a home or never have and people that live in a concrete jungle that sit on the toilet commenting on things they know absolutely nothing about.
@pacorwin haha relax buddy, they're not critiquing him, Tim encourages channel interaction 😊.
Most people commenting are landscapers like myself who only comment cause we know we can do better
We keep our lawn and yard manicured. Back strip for dogs, not so much. But I am one who pointed out the front tree....mostly to jokingly pick on him, as he has self professed his controlling tendencies 😂
The lady in the home will be very happy with the jobs done today Tim.
You make me laugh, your humor. You are fun to watch and always do a great job.😊
Tim, I think your yard looks like a model home. It's immaculate!
Cylinder mower, known in the States as a reel mower. A throwback to the old, non-motorized push mower
I remember those! It seemed to take days to mow a lawn. All it was, was the cylinder and a long wood handle. The clippings stayed on the lawn.
Come to visit the USA. You can stay with us and straighten up ou outdoors😊 You are a good man Tim!
Your yard is looking great, nice green well manicured grass. You did a great job on the topiary there Tim Scissor Hands. Love the Vlogs.
Pub music quiz this time. Keep forgetting your release times 😮. That said your place looks pretty good Tim. Watched QuickCuts yesterday and what George tackled was immense. I referenced you as he needs to get the green bin support from the recycling centre.
Those sheers sound so incredibly satisfying (insert Homer Simpson drooling noise here).
Tim, when I clean the webs and bugs off of my porch I use a broom with some peppermint essential oil sprinkled on the bottom of the bristles. It helps keep spiders and bugs at bay. Other useful essential oils (not fragrance oils!) are lavender, cedar, lemongrass and citronella. 😊
It's interesting how on the ground the housing estate looks spacious and lovely, but from the drone footage the other day, it looks so cramped and not nice. Your street looks so lovely with the lush green street scapes 👌💖.
I did notice the plants in the 3 pots, but not up to me to comment about them! Thought they might even be a species that was bronze in colour rather than dead! 😂
You and Sean(blademate) are my favorites overseas, love you guys.
Love the clipping with the new clippers especially sped up!
That tree you trimmed, looked like it had a bad hair day before you trimmed it. 😂 It looked great after you were done.
Those hedges look great now a good job 👏 as always Tim
Glad you’re taking care of that tree! It was driving me crazy!!!!🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Me too!
pruning council owned trees... naughty naughty. Looks better unpruned imho.
Looking good! It always feels good to get things checked off the to-do list! And if you do something that wasn't on your list, be sure to write it down so you can check it off. Bonus! LOL
I love the spiders, they do great things for environment. And I seen birds steal bugs from spider webs and also birds use the silk for their nests. But you do you. I really enjoy your channel no matter what you share with us. Thanks.
I like watching hedge clipping/trimming the best + I love the quiet of manual tools opposed to all the gas powered trimmers + blowers!!
Using a broom for the spider webs is easy and doesnt always need a ladder. The tree by the road, reminds me of a gumdrop tree that would belong in whoville - in need of a hair cut 😂
Watching your vlog makes me always wonder can one have too many lawn mowers and grass trimmers?…yeah, no I don’t think they can🤷♀️
😂
You need some colour in those pots. Ask the missus what she’d like.
She’s even better at killing plants than me
Your home is lovely. I couldn't imagine pointing out things that may not be perfect. Now I must go inspect my house lol.
You have a beautiful home and garden Tim. You keep it lovely 😊
*checks wristwatch*
Not a freckle past the hair and the tree and shrubs are neatly trimmed up.
It definitely is satisfying to use hedge trimmers and see and feel satisfying crisp snips each time. Great job in the VLOG today!
Love your work Tim. I am missing the daily vlogs but I can imagine that it was too much work for you.
That roller blade mower is the best, that is all the we use, and our grass is always beautiful. 😊
It’s also perfect for clover lawns.
Hooray for the tree trim! 🌳 haircut time
You would laugh at my yard Tim🤣🇺🇸
Beautiful work on your OWN place, love it!!! ❤🎉
That is awesome
Love the front lawn , and the scissors did a great job, better than I seen with others using a hedge trimmer, well done Tim 🌟
Thanks for the great video Tim. Great tips on the front lawn. Hope alot more vlogs to come.
Peace lily in the pots maybe. Or even bougainvillea? When grown in pots and trimmed regularly they get very dense and flower profusely. The Greek Club up here here have them in big planters in their carpark and they look amazing. Nice and hardy too, hard to kill.
I could really see a couple of Daphne plants in your front pots. The plant lends itself very well to potting and is both visually stunning when in bloom and its perfume is wonderful. There are so many varieties of Daphne but I have the “Perfume Princess” and it will grow just over a meter high and meter wide.
I’ll have to look them up
Daphne gives me hayfever - sniff before you buy, Tim!
Bunnings sell an extension pole with like a rounded witches broom tip that you can use to easily and quickly get rid of cog webs around the outdoors without needing to get the ladder out Tim :) nxt time pls include some irrigation asmr!
Wonderful job on tree and bushes. Always good to knock off things from your todo list❤
Taking care of a home is a lot of work and you are always helping others. Forget the haters.
The tree looks like an alien. Maybe from Saturn. 😅 Whatever, it looks beautiful now. Your yard is gorgeous. I honestly wonder how you keep all your various trimmers and mowers sorted in your mind. This does that and those do this… etc. etc. It’s just beautiful. I could look at it for hours. I love the shears. They remind me of my mom’s tailoring shears. Bigger of course, but the sound it makes. Well, I’m seriously loving this video - I don’t know how you just wipe away spiders. I thought you guys had a ton of very poisonous ones. Have an awesome day. 🤗🤗🤗 ~Becka
greetings from Cape Town, 50 years ago our first mower, manual push mower looked like that mower. use your blower for the spiders
Yayyyyy! Haircuts for all the fellas!
Strawberries are a great ground cover, and they love wood chips. For the Pots, perhaps Chives, or Spring Onions, as they're very easy to maintain, and provides something to season food. Another option for the Pots would be Blueberries, though do your research, as different species of Blueberries like different conditions, and produce different sized fruits.
Tim, they make a spiderweb removing brush it’s big and round at the end usually has an extension pole on it. I’m sure you can find one just go to your Google machine and say spiderweb removing brush love you never change.
I'm sure if it had scissors involved, Tim'd be all over it
@@painetdldy absolutely!
Yay!! That tree was driving me nuts! 😁 💚
It made me laugh! 😅
If nothing else, your video inspired me to mow my backyard 🙂 first mow of the season, bit late but better than never I guess?
Flowers in your front pots and under your front tree add some colour to your world
Azalea plants would look nice in those pots. You can get different flowering ones.
I have two, pink and a white one. They don’t like full sun.
Whoa, I'm always watching you and not looking to nit pick your place or anyone else's. Anyhoo, you certainly are a Tim "Scissorhands" with your new pruning shears and the shrubs look ever so nice. About that battery powered rotary mower, ahem, when I grew up with those they used human power. One day my older sister was pushing it around in our garage and I as a 2 year old decided to stick my middle finger into it. Oops. Just a reminder to be careful around those mean machines if you value your digits!
Wait. Wait. Why didn't you use that ladder to trim the tree? 😂😂 Also, you could divide/ thin out the ornamental grasses and put them in the planters. It would be a nice center base if you wanted to add flowers or those other viney, trailing plants around them.
Not Mrs lawnmower man saying why are u wearing the vr set . 😂😂😊
Edward Scissor Hands ... eat your heart out!
It alll looks good now, Tim. I did wonder about the shabby looking little tree out front. Now it's cute again.
I wonder if you know how catchy your outro song is. I constantly find my wife and I walking around the house casually singing "ahuh ahuh, mmm, mmm" because it's always stuck in our heads 😂
😂😂😂
Hahaha love it 🙌
My ocd would have me doing all the trees in the street 😃
Hi Tim still waiting for that Friday when you pit the Ozito battery mower to the test😊
Lol, I detect a bit of OCD. Welcome to the club.
Plants - why don’t you try some sanseveria - mother-in-laws tongue? It takes low water, bright light, you could also pop some ruby necklace in with it to add colour and spill over the edge.
Looks great you have a nice home very neat
Thanks!
Tim you have a lovely home 👍❤️
Looks beautiful Tim
Looking extra crispy!
Awesome job Tim. May GOD bless.
Trim the top of the tree wait a minute a good place to stream Christmas lights through the little branches🤔🤔🤔😬😬😬
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the hole in the edge of the stucco part of the wall, just at the edge of the brick wall, near the neighbor's driveway.
It’s getting worse too.
Have you considered some red shrubs for your pots, a pop of colour? Maybe an Azalea Japonica. Or a blue, Ceanothus?
With you being 6’7 cutting your front lawn tree probably easy lol. I love your vlogs
It’s not perfect?! Tim you’re a certified lawn detailer and you’re a bit OCD…so yeah. It looks great
Hey Tim,
It's funny what people notice. I live my shears too! I use them on my bushes as well. Looked good! I bet the wife was happy when you put that new light and cleaned up the spider webs. 🕷 loving the vlogs.
I’ve got one of those Milwaukee battery operated hedge trimmer. They are heavy but they work really well
It looks fantastic Tim😊
You are absolutely a pro at trimming those bushes!!
your the tree barber tim giving them a hair cut lol
see you made the news 😊
Here (Colorado) people make outside furniture with pallets
Tim the Tool Man !!!!!
Tim, I absolutely love everything, except that tree. Did you trim it like that for delivery directions? "Unit *** Has tree that looks like an egg." 🤣 Sorry... 😂
The joys of home ownership. There’s always something to do and you git it done! 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦
Great video Tim 👍 great info great demo's 👍 👋 to Mr 🦗 you've ✅ all boxes on your lovely home, and pleased the nit pickers 😂
Have a lovely day Tim 😎❤
Nice job Tim. 😊
Ahoj Time, máš to krásně upravené. 🌟Jana 🌟👍👍❇️
You could have two types of plants in each of the white pots. Something that grows vertically and flowers with an ivy that grows out over the edges and hangs down. Just a thought. Had to laugh at the VR goggles. Keep the neighbours scratching their heads.
I did notice your tree needed pruning, and I am glad you have the equipment now to solve the issue. It looks great! It takes practice to get the hang of it. I hope you include this new skill when you do your lawn mowing videos. It makes such a difference. Love your videos so much! Cheers mate.
I have no idea what to suggest because I don't know what kind of flowers grow in your area. However, I'd pick something in pink or coral even, but that's me. The yard is really beautiful. 🌷
Love watching pruning. Your grass is looking great. Try dipladelia for your pots. Come in red, pink and white. Found the white to flower to be stronger and flower longer. ❤🇿🇦
Looking great Tim. Loved Fridays free mow.
Gosh Big Brother or what? 😂😂😂
I do love how your yard is looking beautiful ❤️ God bless you 🙏❤️
I asked my hubby what length in millimetres he cuts our grass….he just gave me side-eye😂😂
😂
"Hey Harold, that weird lawn mower guy across the road is at it again. Now he's filming himself prune the trees with some sort of face mask. There's no way he can see what he's doing."
"Let it go Marge, we've sold the house and he's the new owners problem after next week."
So glad I can’t post pics of my dads yard. Your borderline OCD would be tingling, like mine does, if you saw the way it looks. But hey, he’s 90 and I’m not even 5 foot tall, so it grows how it does 😂😂😂😂. Your yard looks lovely, Tim 👏👏👏👏
Don't know what the plant is called, but they have red and green variegated leaves. Also come in pink and green. Think they would look nice in those pots. Just my opinion. 😀 Those shears are so nice, love the snickety sound they make.😃🌳🌷🇺🇸❤🇭🇲
Caladium maybe? They go dormant in winter apparently so would just be an empty pot again. I got one a few months ba ck and then heard about the dormancy thing.
For those 2 pots in the front plant some crotons in them. They have really pretty leaves.
You are a perfectionist absolutely stunning
It's good to see you working on your own projects. the VR moment caught me off guard.
😂
Didn't know about topiary hedge clippers. (I was only aware of using a blower to get rid of spider webs...rag added to list.)
Canna’s for the pots would be really dramatic
I was letting you get away with that tree on the nature strip. because I thought you were trying to get a bit of height going on...
Stick insect? Are you sure? 🤣lol
Ok, let me see if I understand the steps to reset your lawn height. Mow it down as short as possible, then scarify it and rake it off?
Get yourself a de-thatcher and do your lawn with it.
Fantastic job as always ❤❤❤
Love the work you do. Wondering about you'd dog , what breed is is Maggie?
I noticed the spider webs didn’t know it was your responsibility , on the pallet thing please show the video were they get recycled
