If you are interested in any of the equipment I'm using, check out my new page Turf and Tools / @turfandtools where I review equipment that I am sent and use. If you'd like to send something for me to show, send me an e-mail timthelawnmowerman@gmail.com
Hi! My name is Tim The Lawnmower Man and I love to clean up overgrown yards and make fun videos doing it. I'm able to do them for free as these videos have ads on them and the revenue from that enables me to cover my cost.
I'm always looking for the worst yards around. Sometimes I drive around looking for them, sometimes viewers send me suggestions.

I have to wonder if those commenting on what YOU need to do at your house(cobb webs, overhead light replacement, tree trimming etc.,) is done at their OWN homes?!?! I think your property looks GREAT--very tidy, clean and organized!

Tim, when I clean the webs and bugs off of my porch I use a broom with some peppermint essential oil sprinkled on the bottom of the bristles. It helps keep spiders and bugs at bay. Other useful essential oils (not fragrance oils!) are lavender, cedar, lemongrass and citronella. 😊

Peace lily in the pots maybe. Or even bougainvillea? When grown in pots and trimmed regularly they get very dense and flower profusely. The Greek Club up here here have them in big planters in their carpark and they look amazing. Nice and hardy too, hard to kill.

I could really see a couple of Daphne plants in your front pots. The plant lends itself very well to potting and is both visually stunning when in bloom and its perfume is wonderful. There are so many varieties of Daphne but I have the “Perfume Princess” and it will grow just over a meter high and meter wide.

The tree looks like an alien. Maybe from Saturn. 😅 Whatever, it looks beautiful now. Your yard is gorgeous. I honestly wonder how you keep all your various trimmers and mowers sorted in your mind. This does that and those do this… etc. etc. It’s just beautiful. I could look at it for hours. I love the shears. They remind me of my mom’s tailoring shears. Bigger of course, but the sound it makes. Well, I’m seriously loving this video - I don’t know how you just wipe away spiders. I thought you guys had a ton of very poisonous ones. Have an awesome day. 🤗🤗🤗 ~Becka

Strawberries are a great ground cover, and they love wood chips. For the Pots, perhaps Chives, or Spring Onions, as they're very easy to maintain, and provides something to season food. Another option for the Pots would be Blueberries, though do your research, as different species of Blueberries like different conditions, and produce different sized fruits.

Whoa, I'm always watching you and not looking to nit pick your place or anyone else's. Anyhoo, you certainly are a Tim "Scissorhands" with your new pruning shears and the shrubs look ever so nice. About that battery powered rotary mower, ahem, when I grew up with those they used human power. One day my older sister was pushing it around in our garage and I as a 2 year old decided to stick my middle finger into it. Oops. Just a reminder to be careful around those mean machines if you value your digits!

Wait. Wait. Why didn't you use that ladder to trim the tree? 😂😂 Also, you could divide/ thin out the ornamental grasses and put them in the planters. It would be a nice center base if you wanted to add flowers or those other viney, trailing plants around them.
