Antonio Caldara / Cajo Marzio Coriolano - Introduzione and opening chorus "Roma altera"

Marzio Coriolano was composed in 1717 for the birthday of the Austrian empress Elisabeth Christine of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel (28 August 1691 -- 21 December 1750) and performed at court on her birthday, and opens with a lavish instrumental introduction scored for four trumpets, timpani, and oboes.
