Hell of an adjustment by the coaching staff of Denver.
However, the MVP knows the Law of Conservation of Energy. Denver has three point guards. They used them all. They let the MVP walk down to the high post or to the Elbow Kareem Abdul-Jabbar style.
For the first two games Denver's coaches played checkers. While Minnesota played the same game but crowned every piece on the board.
How will Minnesota counter? They will run a wave defence and run all 11 guys, the mascot, and the ball boy at the Denver point guards. They will pick up Denver's point guard full court. So, as to keep the ball in the point guard's hands. Then once he gets in position to pass to the MVP they will have to run a trap double.
They will have to concede a corner three to run the trap double. If the Devver point guards pass directly to the corner there will be problems. If the point guard passes first to the Joker, even if the Denver center skip passes to the corner, the Wolves can scramble and recover.
If the wolves listen to the talking heads on TV and online analyst they will make no defensive adjustments. In that case they will just go out there guns blazing and get into a shoot out. Minnesota can pull dem shootin' irons but they need to D up and stay out of the OK Coral.
Keep the game under 200 combined points. A 97 93 game is good. A 90 80 game is better.
The coaches of both teams are going to have to keep their fingers on the pulse of the game. They have to get outside the coach's boxes and direct the defense and script every play. The team that goes deep into the shot clock on both ends of the floor in a sub 200 game will have the greatest chance of winning.
That will be difficult. But that is why they are to do it and I am not able to do it.

Nice to see it be a little more of a competitive series. Jokic almost makes it unwatchable though. Tired of seeing him initiate contact and get rewarded with a foul call. Makes me wonder if he would even be a starter if the NBA was called like college ball. Adam Silver needs to stop catering to casual fans (promoting offense over defense). Watching players shoot free throws is boring, and calling ticky tacky fouls takes away from the beauty of basketball being a continuous action game.

Just to take this as an opportunity:
Ive mentioned this before on nfl and nba videos. Whoever the editing is, theyre actually useless. Like the bare minimum they couldnt do on a good day. For the nfl, they show a play, then cut halfway through to show the same play twice again. For this video as an example they show a play and then cut the audio to 50% for no reason.
Whoever is paying these people needs to fire them. I dont even know windows movie maker and i could make an infinitly better highlight vid. Not to mention every other trash aspect of sports.((The refs and owners, plus the moronic announcers)) I'm actually proud that i dont watch games of any kind for the last 10 years. They cant even make a highlight video with basic quality.
