I would love a basic model to transform to a campervan… but too expensive as new for me :-(

Depends on where you are. Here the power is 10c per kWH, which would mean it would cost $10 to charge a 100kW battery.

The charging of the Ford and Mercedes may be the same time it depends on how many kWh the manufacturer setup the limit for charging on level 3 fast charge .

Underwhelming from Mercedes. They've been working on this for at least 2 years and this is the best they can pull together? I have a 2022 model and this looks no different. The execs have tunnel vision and think everyone that uses vans, is doing deliveries. What about the huge market for tradies? We need to be able to charge our battery tools and they haven't even thought about it. Also campervans and vanlifers would love this. It took them 2 years for a power train swap and almost nothing else is different. Its a pity Rivian can't make the Amazon delivery van available to general sales, they would kill this easy.

Please STOP saying actually, ACTUALLY way too MUCH. It's annoying 😒. "This one actually has electric seats." You do NOT need to say ACTUALLY, as it actually means NOTHING. Play back and count your actually counter.😊
