All I did was use some solder less connectors and spliced the two rear ones in.

Hello thanks for commenting! I unfortunately don't have a soldering gun and I'm not good with wiring I just went ahead and tore what I figured needed to be apart and put my new lights in!

THANK YOU! I've been going crazy trying to figure this out without taking out all the left rear interior panels. Another video, for an H2 SUT, showed pushing in the smaller clip, the one closer to the light opening, but that didn't work for my H2 SUV. I almost gave up and wasn't going to try to remove the clip that YOU removed, but after searching ONE MORE TIME and found your video, I will try if that clip is all that's necessary... Will I also need to remove the tape from the main harness under the interior tray for the extra wiggle room, like you did?
Thanks again, I hope to hear from you soon.

@Al Montoya hi thanks for commenting so yeah that clip was a very big pain in the butt I'm not 100% sure if it needs to be removed but pretty sure in order to get it out i think it does also I don't know if you have to remove the wiring harness/ wire harness tape I really only did it to make sure I was in the right ball park for the wires that go to the marker light that's why I took it down so perhaps don't take it off maybe and use your judgement to see if it actually needs to come off? Just a suggestion hopefully this helps!

@Al Montoya gonna warn you to the plastics are cheap unfortunately that side got a Crack in it when I removed my tray I got lucky with the otherside but just be very careful and I recommend plastic pry tools I used a small flat head to get my treys out I think that's why it cracked on that side!
