im from East Atlanta, i actually met him before when i was in elementary school in 2nd grade, the last year of school i completed before moving from the A, it was april 2005 flat shoals elementary, i had just turned 8, my assistant teacher was his teacher when he went to school there and i remember he came and visited and talked to the class, it was a big deal to us to see someone from our neighborhood who had become one of the biggest stars in the world. he talked to the class and autographed all our stuff and told us he was proud of us and to keep working hard,my favorite comedian.

Tucker is a genuine guy
Used to live next door to his dad off Buffington Road and Flat Shoals on Birdseye Trace when he passed away about two years ago. Never spoke to anyone over there I just respected their. privacy. Low key people the neighborhood definitely seemed to have respect for. I believe they moved right after he died.

I asked Chris to take a pic with me at an event, he was real reluctant. I immediately thought it was more about protecting his image than an arrogant move. He did it and was good about it. My respect for him really increased just given the fact that he could have said no he doesn't do that and no one else was really around to see other than his people. A good guy.

I went to Columbia High with Chris, yes, he was always funny and the fact that he didn't know it was a natural talent back then, that's what helped stay true to him being natural at it!!! Proud to see him and His brother Dexter sticking too making people laugh, we need more laughter!!!

Chris tucker Is literally an influence of mine because I've learned in my art form to not bring up any raunchy material and to know that he does the same thing especially that netflix special , I've grown to appreciate the healthy and secured form of comedy that doesn't come too much is because most comics rely on Profanity and offensive material to where chris in his later years I feel is the best chris tucker , like I'd rather watch a 2020 chris tucker special than a 1996 chris tucker special but that's just me.

New Line didn’t wanna pay him what he got paid in Rush Hour. So, basically Rush Hour Gabe him a bag that New Line wasn’t tryna match. On top of that he thought he out grew the character.

I saw Chris at The SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia a couple of years ago. He’s telling the truth! He told straight, funny jokes. & he even sang My Way by Frank Sinatra. He gets it he paid homage to some of the legends. It was a GREAT show!
