Forgotten intentionally by one or more of Barry Manilow or his management. He left it off all his Greatest Hits compilations. Must have been a personal dislike for the song or a contractual dispute. Never saw a song disappear from existence by an artist of his stature like this one.
@@MrRobertCanary I kind of agree with Jonny. This sounds really forced because, ultimately, it was. Clive forced this on Barry because he wasn't having hits anymore and he thought this might work. It didn't. Barry doesn''t like it either. It's barely seen the light of day in the U.S. except on this EP. Barry has essentially buried it and while it's not terrible, Stevens' version is the way to go.
@@MrRobertCanary You are musically dead, Shaky’s versions blows this half assed attempt out of the water. To say Manilows version is better, is casting insult on some of the best session musicians that played on Shaky’s original. This sounds like some bad pub karaoke attempt!, If you need any proof, go over to Shaky’s official RUclips channel and see the views and likes compared to Manilows crap!
Mostly forgotten top 40 hit. I love it!!
I never heard it and I am not fond of it really. :-/
I do not remember this one at all.

Pathetic version.
Listen to the original instead!
Original by Shakin' Stevens.
Totally disagree...Manilow's version is better

I do not recall this one at all, and it certainly is far from vintage and the best of Barry Manilow music.
This is not "Barry's style."
