I've got the 2550kv Pacers on 2 builds, they seem fine so far but I had an issue with one of them where there was 2 strands of windings sticking out between 2 stator poles, I just used a guitar plectrum to push them back in and they've been fine since.
@@Fincky yeah I reckon the magnets would have eventually rubbed through the enamel on the wires and caused a short, but other than that I'm really happy with the rest of the build construction and performance, the rubber o ring and steel washer on the shaft up inside the bell is neat too, all 3 of the new motors are using this construction, it means you can fully tighten the shaft set screw and it doesn't cause the bells to start binding, like I always have to tighten the set screw then back it off on older T Motors but the Pacers I can crank the screw fully in and the bell never binds. Xing and RCinPower were doing this on their motors as well, that was the first place I ever saw that on a motor before.
Sympa la petite session de freestyle. C'est marrant aussi de te voir bouger autant la tête 😂. Je prends bien note de tes avis sur TMotor, un jour j'en mettrai dans un build
Can you please help me. I have a quad with 2500KV F60 pro III's and I need to buy a replacement motor. I can't find an exact match, so which is most important to match: the KV, the F60, or the Pro III. I was thinking about buying a 2500KV F60 pro IV, but I don't know if that would be a problem to mix-match them like that.
T-Motor are good motors but once you crash... They break really easily.. I dont understand why not more people go to brotherhobby while in my case, I find them performing very well and being very strong
I've been thrashing them for years and mostly had great experience with them in terms of durability. The only thing is to change bearings when they get a bit old but the bells stay super strong and the way it flies to me is a lot cleaner then the BrotherHobby motors that I've tried/owned
I can't feel much of a difference between two different brand motors of the same size and kv. If I change sizes and kv well then obviously its very different.
I so wished I stuck to one frame and one type of motors..maybe I could of been the next ledrib lmao..anyways the f40 pro was great and I tend to stick with 2207 for freestyle but my quads with 2306 feel different idk how to explain it. Hopefully my new apex 5" will be my go to frame and will sell the others to build hopefully three identical apexs
Yeah that’s really my advice: find something you like, build a lot of the same and stick to it. No matter if there’s new stuff out there! I usually change elements of my build after like a year or so of using them and I do it one by one over a prêtions of very very long 😁
Salut Fincky ! Je vole depuis quelque temps avec les hardline de chez Xnova et c'est un vrai désastre. J'ai des bruits de roulement de dingue avec 3-4 vols sans forcement crasher. Tu penses quoi de la durabilité des t-motor ?
Bonjour, I just bought your signature frame from Pirat as I'm looking for a replacement for my aging and always out of stock AstroX X5 frames. I have never built a toilet tank setup and I do have some questions regarding the setup. Is there any chance to get a closeup shot of your stack? Also do you run your esc's naked without a cap on 6s?
Hey Fincky, I'm about to purchase your build on the links you have supplied above, however, can you confirm you fly a 4s or 6s for your favourite build, also do you have any links to your build with PIDS etc? Thank you.
Fincky! I'm rebuilding my powertrain and need a tiny bit of advice. T-Motor F60 PRO IV 1950KV - T-Motor F7 HD & F55A Pro II 30x30 Stack - 6S Do you use betaflight? If so what version? If not what FC operating system do you use?
Thanks! If you like the 2306 size, you should enjoy them. The Velox series is not as tough or powerful as the Pacers that are themselves less refined than the F40 Pro IV series. Basically as you add money you'll get more power, durability and refinement. I do FPV for a living so I go straight to the top shelf stuff but if you wanna save a little bit, with little compromise, you can go for the Pacers and if you really want to go for something cheap, you can pick the Velox and you won't be disappointed. They won't have as much power but will be very smooth and since it's for a cinematic rig they're not supposed to crash a ton so you should get some good bang for you're buck
I have 3 quads with F60 PRO III, and all of them feel a little bit hot, not really hot , just more than warm, after every flight. Are your F60 feel the same or just warm ?

I have Xing-E 2208 1800kv and F60pro3 1750 and the F60 feel smoother and less jello. Both quads are Source One frame and except for the motors, they are identical.
I've tried some Xing motors and they are pretty good but still feel a bit lesser quality compared to the T-Motor to me. Xing's a fairly new player in the FPV motor game so it's no surprise. They've also copied designs from other brands which always feels a little shady to me...
Out of 9 Xing-E motors I bought one was wrong kv (was marked 1800 but the rmp indicated it was a 2450), another one burned in a very gentle crash and one got severe vibrations after another gentle crash... but they are cheap...
@@Siamect well your comparing the E line which are the budget line to tmotors. I was talking about the none E line. Unibell ones. My experience with the E line up is extremely good so far. And if you say their a little smoother then I'll take the half price E any day of the week.
@@Fincky they copied Designs? Pretty sure t motor saw how good the xings are selling with the funky color and copied them on their pacer line. Talking about durability though they are very durable in my experience, are t motors the same?

Have you tried the Pro IV? You're speaking of the latest version? I've crashed really hard with my Pro IIIs and been happy with the results. You actually don't bend a bell by hitting the motor directly, you bend it in the situation that you describe. Nothing unbreakable, motors are still consumables on a quad, they are exposed to a lot of stress and will need maintenance/replacement on hard crashes.
Fincky I used proII ( better than proIII for robustness from my experience ) . Never bent a bell before in a milion crashes in the way I did with proIII , I don’t know exactly how to describe it but the lower vertical part of the bell ( where the logo and the model are written ) was partially detached from the upper part and the crash wasn’t so big, maybe I was particularly unlucky...But the part I’m most disappointed is how easily this high end pro motors degrades in terms of vibrations that arise after even a light crash. This is my experience as I said before as performance are they are the best IMHO, but with a price too high for me !
Work happened man! Sorry about that but that's exactly the time things started going crazy for me. I have one video in the bag that I need to edit, it will be a flight video and I have like 4 or 5 subjects that I need to cover in Vlogs just still haven't due to me being so busy at the moment :/
I see no reason to buy expensive motor. There are two weakest points of all the motors bearings and balance. Unbalance could be caused by any soft crash (scratch on a bell or bent a shaft) which leads than to bearing destruction. Even after balancing with aluminium tape the bell, you have to change bearings. The cost of NSK bearing with delivery is almost 8$ per motor. And you still have not perfectly balanced bell with aluminium tape on it. The main difference between FPV drone and dji drones that the first was born to fall and the second born to fly. So I think it's more clever to buy 2 cheap motors than 1 expensive for the same price, because perfect motor is a new one, but not the used expensive with changed bearings and rebalanced bell
I'm still flying F40 ii. Stocked up when they went on sale.
I have a couple sets of the 2600kv variant I bought like 3 years ago, those motors were the shit back then and so powerful even still to this day.
