Don't you know what the word muse means? Muse always had clever and nice fans and then some stupid people let in the idiots. Now the fans don't even know what a Muse is. Just wrong.
I knew Matt in 1998 in Japan singing bliss and unintended red hair full of roses on the mic tight pants very Manson he didn't want to follow the master so he created a new type of electro rock and it worked for the last 25 years
I'm into the third song and it's fascinating seeing Chris keeps headbanging so hard. Love his hair. I've never been to a concert and I need Muse to be my first. I'm scared I'll die before have a chance to see them.
@@Johanna11xYou made a great decision 😂 I hope they'll come to my country because there's no way I'll have enough money to fly to UK/Europe or any other countries closed to my country to see them LOL I'm such a poor fan 😂
New Born and Bliss are my two most loved songs from this era. I have so many memories from road trips during the summer of 2001 playing Origin Of Symmetry!
What a performance and sound! Hyper Music is just crazy and out of this world, and then Unintended following. Literally sad about each song that hasn't been broadcast now, and happy about those who have been. Great video!
Microcuts one of my fav songs ever and I only saw this one live once (HAARP 2007).. how sad. However, I also had the privilege to see them in the Electric ball room in 2015 and it was freaking amazing!
Épico! Gracias por compartir esto. Leer algunos comentarios y ver tanta belleza de palabras, QUE VIVA MUSE POR SIEMPRE!!!!!!!!! Eso sí es felicidad 😍😃❤️
There's also the bass sound in Unintended. I'm sure this was before they started using backing tracks in their live shows. I think the bass in Unintended will just be a pickup in the bass strings of Chris's acoustic guitar put through an octave pedal. In Screenager I think Matt's signal is split between two amps and one has the clean guitar sound and the other will be using an early arpeggiator effect pedal and going to a different amp.
@@michaelpont-xj6cw I'm fairly certain that bass in Unintended is a backing track, as are the arpeggios in Screenager and Bliss. I don't know of any arpeggiator pedal that could possibly be reliable enough to perfectly replicate the record. If you know of one, please tell me its name because my guitarist would love it lmao
ive seen Chris play the bass with his feet on a pedal board type thing whilst playing the guitar, don`t` know if he does it here, i havn`t got that far yet.
I'm currently doing a bunch of AI upscale/conversions to clean up a bunch of old Muse shows and this one is on my list of ones I really want to do. But I can't get any good source files to start with. Muse bootlegs has a torrent for it but it has only 3 songs. You don't by chance still have the file you used to do this upload do you? If so would you be able to upload it to somewhere like google drive for me to download and convert?
Saw them do a show with Coldplay at Newcastle Uni in May 2000 (almost exactly 1 year before this). Coldplay opened and muse closed. They started what I now know was New Born but at the time it was an unreleased track and unknown to me. Other than that I don't remember much of the show, other than that it was 1 of the best shows I've ever seen. Wish I could remember more of it. I've searched up the set list online and was surprised to see they played Plug In Baby. This was also an unknown track to me at the time but I don't actually remember hearing it. I didn't take any photos as mobile phones with cameras weren't a thing back then and I'm not aware of there being any video recordings of the show online.
I got the chance to see their concert last two weeks in Kuala Lumpur and it was the most memorable experience for me. One of my fav band in the world! Still can't move on from their concert.
A small theater concert like this gives me different vibe. I love it.
they really did pack a lot of energy into these small gigs. love to see the earlier days
