The English team were just too good. All their forwards were outstanding(those rolling mauls), and they were far superior as a cohesive unit.
As for the Black Ferns, 1 or 2 good aspects in their game, but that English try 5 metres out from the BF line summed up their effort. A for effort but an F for execution. Congratulations England!

Part of me wishes this game didn't happen. As much as it was nice to watch the red roses absolutely thump new zealand (twice), it was the catalyst for them changing their coaching staff and reinvigorating themselves before the world cup. Would have loved it if this team had gone to the world cup.
You and many others are kind of forgetting we only played *4 games in 2 years* as our Country was in lock down in 2020.
Any team in any sport would struggle with lack of game time, when both France and England continued on to play on.
But yes, those Coaching changes and consistant game time together we were able to show our true colors.
Hopefully you can move on.

The biggest difference was the forwards. England forwards were on point in their job. Nz couldn't keep up and had to call on the backs for defense. But nevertheless a beautiful game of rugby 👏👏

England Rose's to hot for our girls, awesome display, they're on level compared to us. Our girls definitely got schooled, but now they know what level they need to be if they want to beat the Rose's.
They have 1 year before the world cup in Oct 2022, they (have alot of work to do)

I played between the ages of 5 and 43 and have coached and refereed since the age of 44 to date (I'm 58 now) and would be happy to drop dead on a rugby pitch refereeing.

If you would care to reflect, these women are at the pinnacle of their sport, representing their country. I think revelling in a score that brings you far from within touching distance of your opponents’ score is misplaced at best - and I think you’ll find most NZ rugby fans would share that sentiment.
When you haven't played international rugby for 2 yrs and are playing a full professional side which has, then there's bound to be a discrepancy in the score line.

England are now the power house of Women's Rugby and big Congrats to them. They have just got better since going down in the last World Cup to NZ. Lack of true International competition has really hurt NZ through no fault of their own. This is now a good time to "rebuild" the Team. Whether it can be done in time for the World Cup next year remains to be seen.
The introduction of Super Rugby for the women will be a big benefit for the NZ women that offers another layer between NPC and Tests. England have poured a huge amount of money on their women's rugby and we are seeing the rewards. Our women deserve that too. They are trying their best with what they currently have and our support is what they need the most right now. Kia kaha wahine toa.

Looking back on the time that Tyrrells sponsored the women's premier league, the only thing that they achieved was the promotion of their potato crisps.

When Woodman clattered into her, I changed my running lines in a fraction of a second when I played, there is no incentive for "Attacking Players" to avoid collisions, quite the opposite. You can win a world cup with a well timed collision.

Thought the Black Ferns forwards showed little or no urgency to get back in defense after being knock over, #4 in particular. Plenty of work to be done with 4 tries from rolling mauls against them. France 2 nil.
