I have both the "Ajazz AK820 pro with Gift switch", and the "Keychron k8 pro with Gateron Browns" which is double the price of the Ajazz, and for me Ajazz is the better option because of the more creamier & refined sound. Keychron's keycaps are more well-finished, however the typing experience in Ajazz is better.
the gift switch is better than blue switch?? because i was have a keyboard with blue switch and now i have ajazz ak820 with gift switch so what the better one?
Just picked out of these up, did minimal modding to remove a slight amount case hollowness and also added dielectric grease to the stabs since a few had minimal ticking. Definitely really good stock though! a nice upgrade over my keychron v1 imo. Has a better sound to me, with the V1 no matter what i did to it always had too much clack.
I bought it on Aliexpress, it came in early this week. I was using a cheap, low quality membrane keyboard with some coloured LEDs (not true RGB) from a local company (white label btw), and goddamn, it's another whole world of difference. This is the best keyboard i ever owned, and i recommend it to anyone looking to get a new keyboard, this much quality with these features at this price is just too good.
I love this keyboard. The look and feel is amazing, it sounds good and the price is very reasonable. Good for typing or gaming or whatever. I do have a couple small complaints about it though, but it's mostly about the software and display screen. They don't give you an actual website or link to get the software, all they tell you is go look up ajazz pro yourself if you want more features. It's a little janky once you downlaod it too, there are multiple versions and you don't know what your downloading. The screen doesn't keep accurate time. You can click the sync button and it will sync the time to your computer, but after a day I noticed it running a couple seconds faster than my computer. I don't mind hitting the sync button again, but you shouldn't have to do that. You can load Gif's on it which is cool, but once you turn off your computer and turn it back on you have to go into the software again to display it again. Anyways those are small gripes. My recommendation is, don't pay extra for the display screen, otherwise this keyboard is really good.
It's so crazy to think that budget boards now have almost all the same features as enthusiast ones these days. You never know about product lifespan and quality control, of course, but the fact manufacturers are able to produce products like these and charge such a low price for them is astonishing. I'm split between getting this or something slightly higher priced like the TH80 Pro or MOD007. It's all about the reprogrammability of the knob for me. If the knob can be used as a media button - pause/play on press as well as volume on rotation, I'm sold.
Those are good bought the old rk87 back in 2020 for about $60 and it came factory lubed. It's been almost 4 years and it's still really good for unmodded kb.
@@InternetDweller not that long, about a week (ordered from amazon tho, based on other peoples experiences i wouldnt order from epomaker if youre in europe)
Aluminium 😂 Fun fact, when Aluminum was discovered in 1807 by an American scientist, he named it Alumium from its derived compound "Alum". But he changed his mind to Aluminum and sent word to colleagues. When he sent info of its discovery to his British colleagues, they changed the name to Aluminium, since it matched other minerals such as chromium and had a more classical sound to it. There are also suggestions that they thought it was misspelled. Hence why ONLY BRITS CALL IT ALUMINIUM!!! Also, football, as it's called in the UK, was once called soccer until the early 1900s when they changed the name to football to correspond with what other European countries called it, Fusball.
I actually just got this board, i ordered it on march 6th or something and i got it a few hours ago, there is a software its just that its not on the English website, i can link it if needed
It’s brilliant for gaming. I only have experience with the Fly Fish linear switch. I can’t comment on which switch is better. But it is hot swappable so you can always change them
Anyone help I've just brought this but I can't get the keys to light up. I no the back of the keys light up but when your playing in the dark THE ACTUAL keys, do t seem to light up for example I can't see where the letters are in the dark. Any ideas pleasex
This is a great review! Just ordered it, DEFINITELY going to be an upgrade over my membrane keyboard.
You’ll be blown away by how much better mechanical keyboards are! Nice choice mate, enjoy
I think hipyo needs to review this, it’s a great keyboard, thanks for the great preview as I’m just waiting for delivery
Looks like a decent keyboard and would be ideal for my ITX system, added to my Amazon list. Cheers
Happy to help out mate! I’m planning on building an ITX system too🔥

Got this keeb for 29 USD on amazon, just added tape mod and changed the keycaps to thicker pbt ones and it's good to go.

I had a Keychron K2 and the best way I could describe it was it sounded really pingy. The AK820 Pro is a much better keyboard than my old K2 imo
@@ProYamYamPC did you do any mods to the K2? My v1 was a bare bones kit I built so I didn't really get a stock experience from keychron.

I may give this one a try. Looking for a new keyboard in that size.
I have one of these and I love it so far. The only issue I have is that there is no 'Insert' key and I am unsure how to bind it.
Can you see the symbols with the light of room turned off?
Thanks mate

What’s the difference between the pro and non pro, just the screen and wireless? bc I don’t really care for that stuff
I believe so, I can’t really find any information on the non-Pro model. I’m not sure if Ajazz still sell/produce it
The non pro variant isn't on their site but they did sell it for $49 on epomaker
In my country, this Keyboard has the same price as GMK81 Barebone kit
Is it better to just buy the AK820, or does the GMK actually way better?
£50.48 it cost me
Does the epomaker switches fit with this keyboard

The letters aren’t transparent, so the RGB can’t pass through them. To help with this, you can get another keycap set which have transparent letters

the height is very high?
if you want things like the £ symbol, Is it easy to use with Windows UK language?
Yeah, the key will still be the same. But the printing is the US layout. If that makes sense mate😅
