That's a great idea with the wooden slats for panels. You could just pre-built them to fit and attach them with wing nuts so they can be removed. Install led strip multi color lighting.
thanks for the support! 💪🏻💪🏻 it’s only a temporary measure anyway as I’ll get a pop top next year - and I wanted a clean atheistic so no fasteners on show.
Yeah it is heavy haha - i was actually going to use a thin balsa wood with contours cut into it - but wanted to build my own. Its a stop gap anyway as in June next year ill get a pop top done - which will promt another few videos as ill have to remove almost everything from inside!
For the 12V LED and the LED Puck Lights I used twin core 1.5mm Squared wire - just make sure to check using online tables that the wire you are using is suitable for the current you are drawing for that appliance! (and also use 6mm ply not 12mm!)
I just googled pick lights and bought some with a frosted face and they were about £60 all in. yeah it’s wired to my fuse board which is obviously to the battery. check my other electrical video out for the full install
they were 45mm x 20mm deep and I got the 3.0m lengths as the roof was approx 2525mm in length. the Ply was an 10ft x 6ft (3050mm x 1525mm) single sheet as I didn’t want any joins. but should of used 6mm instead of 12mm 🤣
Thanks mate its come out really good. Ive got a L3H2 boxer i wanna do the same thing too...I didnt even know you could buy them in 10x6 sheets where did you get them from?
@@richard_builds_it thanks for that mate I'll check it out online see if I can get any oversized sheets nearer me... yeah im in Kent so won't be doing Plymouth 😅 See I like your size battens i don't think I'd want any wider. My personal preference. Thank You All the best
That looks fantastic you done a great job I’m going to try that in my transit custom, really enjoyed the video thanks for sharing 👍
cheers I really appreciate it.

What puck lights do you buy. Also what was the wiring you had in there? Is it all wired up to a Leisure battery?
