Absolutely agree this was good but the first was better. I think the first The coach hampered her spirit trying to focus on the annunciation of the words clearly. The first pre dream perfomance audition was done with more genuine emotion through her wanting the dream so badly. Everyone else at that point was primed for this amazing surprise. It was painstaking to watch her on the stage at first, not as they say laughing at her. But still to anticipate her likely to bomb. Her look was that of a house frau after a day of depressive chores. She definetly had the look of the character depicted in the words of the song, someone who had their fare share of suffering through life. When she started singing It was truly an uplifting tear jerking performance because she genuinely felt every word she sang living in that moment as her moment to shine! Expecting nothing after that point. She lived for that moment as you can hear in her performance. The post dream performances were also very good but understandably not as emotionally driven.

She filled my eyes on that TV show ...And now, knowing that she 'made it' , it makes my eyes fill again...

The lyrics make me think of my mom's old life when she was married before her divorce. We had the two story house, vacations every season, luxury cars, she didn't have to work. Things went wrong and now she lives alone with all her children grown and moved out. She works endless and tirelessly to support herself, and she tells me of the days in the past when she was happiest.. I feel for my mom and I guess there is some beauty in this disaster.
