- What can a California girl do with a few dusty acres of land in rural Nebraska? So Kennedy Blaine wonders after she inherits a ranch in the small, western-style town of Valentine, Nebraska. As Kennedy makes arrangements to sell the property, she finds herself drawn to the ranch and to its attractive manager, Derek Sterling. I enjoy the simplicity of the story line even if a bit predictable, the acting was well crafted. Beautiful scenery and landscape plus excellent filming. Very easy viewing and I'd recommend it.

Diogo is such an incredible actor. You all know him because he played Jesus before doing this movie. But I've known is work all my life. We are about the same age. He is a famous portuguese actor. Nowadays he's working mainly back home. But I'm portuguese so I'm lucky to be able to see him on the big screen whenever I want. He is a true pearl.
I love this film, I've watched it 3 times. Love the storyline and the beautiful scenery. I would love to inherit a ranch unfortunately I have no relatives not even distant ones lol

it's not as easy as in the movies, and nobody can make a living with a few horses and unused fields.
But yes, it is very nice to own or live on such a ranch.
What an amazing story. And the cast is amazing. Highly recommend to future viewers.
