- Spoiled 18-year old Dani Fielding's world is turned upside down when her father gets arrested for securities fraud. She has to leave her cushy home and loses her prize horse to stay with her gruff uncle, Sam. As Dani and her uncle struggle to bond, she's given an orphaned colt that is a different type of horse than she is used to training. Dani pours her affection into 'Stormy' and uses him to replace what's missing in her unsettled life.Through Stormy, Dani soon realizes that truly caring about others is the answer to most of life's biggest problems. When her uncle and friends need her the most, Dani and Stormy must work together to save the day and learn the true meaning of the word, 'family'.

There are more movies with Kevin and Samantha on both "Christian Movies" and "EncourageTV" in case you don't know these channels. Highly recommendable.
I also enjoy Jefferson Moore in "Clancy", "The Perfect Stranger" (and the series).
-In addition, I'd like to recommend "Golden Mind" and other movies with Josiah David Warren.
This is what movies used to be, it had a great plot and the people grew in it. I rooted for the characters in this movie.

I love Stormy the underdog! Mules are a huge part of American history, stronger and more agile than horses in rough terrain... Big hearts and loyal feelings...

Great movie, finally a mule as a hero .a mule and donkey lover. All the human actors were great too. A real good inspiring story.

I can not say how much I love this sweet, unpretentious movie. The rapport between siblings Dani and Jordan, the downhome practicality of Uncle Sam and neighbor Jodie, the awkward charm of Kevin the teenage love interest --- it all comes together to make you wish as though you knew people like this in real life. The security and sincerity of life on Uncle Sam's ranch contrasts sharply with brief glimpses of Dani's materialistic, stressful former life at the beginning of the movie, as well as the distressing scenes with Dani's corporate criminal father and money-grubbing, heartless stepmother. It's nice to see movies of folks who take at-risk children into their homes and hearts and wind up giving them a new life. Nicely done!
Unconditional Love is the best content for any movie and we see it here. Great script, direction, acting, cinematography, scenery (where was this, wow!) musical score (teared me up and gets me every time) and all the "REST"

Good movie.....and a good example of what greed does to people. It leaves them a hollow shell without love, humanity, empathy, or morals. Nothing else matters to them except for their greed.

What a mindblowing story which teaches us about everything in life specifically the family, while watching tears sometimes came out from my eyes, for someone life is very meaningful and for some other people trying, waiting, searching life and love forever but failed. A really excellent movie with true values and wonderful acting. Great decision to watch this movie as I am Australian and don't usually watch 'westerns' and have not seen Kevin Sorbo in a movie till now. But this is not a 'western' and now i have seen Kevin Sorbo and his actor wife and love them both. Loved Stormy too. ❤

great family film. good acting, good story line, and best of all, all benefit. Rare to watch things being worked out and developed. Kristy Swanson does a great job as Dani. Boy can she give the teen-age look of disdaign for parental input. Wonderful, warming.

A wonderful touching movie, full of love and good teachings. Great acting, no doubts about Kevin Sorbo, but a nice surprise about the others that I never heard before... my bad. Thanks for this very pleasant movie, I really enjoyed it.

I did not realize that Vanessa, Jordan's mother, was Sam Sorbo, (Kevin Sorbo's wife) until I read the credits. I have even met her in person, but she is like a chameleon in movies! What a great acting job! This was a heartwarming story and I really enjoyed it.

The high point of the movie is the 1:29 minute mark. Our Loving God created animals to train us on how to love each other unconditionally through Gods Love we learn all things. Thank you for this AWESOME movie.^_^

Love his position, character, knowledge, and demeanor in this movie. He has this large estate, where he can welcome and lead the three well. Although, he’s a much better father than boyfriend or husband.

Funny how long its taken people to figure that mules are slower than horses because (like introverts) they're more thorough in consideration. It's nice to see what can be done when producers of movies return to basic Christian values and away from takkun olam.
Grew up around a lot of mules. Have much respect for their intelligence and work. Introverted is not the word i ever heard used to describe what was going on in their heads. Lol

mules and donkeys think about things before they do it. they are cautious..they are also good at taking on predators.

At 20:00 minutes in, her first day in the home, there is a parenting example to be learned here… He’s allowing her freedom in her emotions, words, and behaviors while not becoming angry, or violent. It’s like he’s taking the just let her be for a few days and see how things go approach.
For a mule Storm is very good looking. This a great yarn. I really enjoyed it.
Omg ,. I have to see this movie a few more times,. I laughed , I cried, and can't believe that the dad was the little boy from E.T. and the other stars on here .... This is a great fukn movie and yes I'm home sick and miss my wife and daughter .... God left me all alone dealing with throat cancer and a stroke . I had to vent I give myself a few weeks and I'm probably gonna die in my apt from being lonely. Can't walk or talk ... And nobody cares or willing to help me. But thank you for making me happy for just a moment. Godbless

I love a good mule.! My small town removed mule races at county fair for stock car races and demolition derbys. I moved to this place to leave city ways behind! They came any way . Money money money. It does not make my world go round. It took away my small town drugstore, my local cafe where all could have good, local conversation and old time American pie!
