I really enjoy these home tours and especially the interviews with the family regarding their decisions in choosing materials or placement of windows. In America, we build homes that are essentially large boxes to put our items in. Japanese living is more purposeful and meaningful. A strong well-built purposeful and meaningful home provides the roots for a long and happy life….for generations.
