Thank you very much for the video. I am installing this system on a Rans Coyote S6 that has a really poor manual trim system.
    Thanks again!

Hello. Congratulations on the successful construction of Ninja! I have plans to build such an airplane. I flew it a bit and I like it very much. I am currently flying a Minifox plane that I built myself. There are some videos on my RUclips channel, did you buy the construction kit locally in Iceland or from somewhere else? I fly over Iceland quite often, most often it is under the clouds, but when there are none, I can admire a beautiful country! In the film, I see you in a T-shirt with a Polish eagle on your chest. I cordially greet you from Poland.

Hi Harry. I notice at about 2:30 you drill a hole into the main tube frame of the elevator to accomodate the servo arm extension. My question is why didn't you mount the servo more towards the rear of the elevator to accomodate the servo extension?

      Hi Barry,
I have the servo in this place because the elevator is thickest there and does not push out the cover when the servo is installed there. If I had the servo somewhere else then it would push out the cover and might affect the airflow on the elevator.
From the servo I used carbon fiber tube from a local hobby shop.
I think everybody else here in Iceland just puts the servo outside the elevator and are having no problem with that. But I did it different. I think it looks better this way and it was more challenge to make :)
Thanks for the question and best regards,
      Eysteinn HARRY.

@@FlyingHarry Thanks for the reply. I like your solution and I may do a similar one when my kit arrives in a few months. I may call on you if I need some help if that's ok?

This would have made a great video played at normal speed with description of what was being done. Sadly, an opportunity missed.

The Skyranger does come with a manual trim I suppose? what is the advantage of making it electrical? doesn't it make it more complicated? The stick grip does look cool

Hi there and thank you for the question.
Yes, it comes with manual trim in the kit and its not necessary to do it like I did.
The advantage of it, is the comfort. Now im able to trim while holding the stick and dont need to move my other hand around.
This setup is very popular here in Iceland, but most all of the Skyrangers here have the trim servo outside of the elevator surface.
I also like challenges, so this is what I did ;)
      Best regards,
      Harry.
