Thank you. The gas struts hold 80lbs each. I wanted something that can lift it up easily. To put down it requires a little muscle but still can be done by one person. I got the struts at amazon. I honestly cant remember the brand.
Hello Pat, the legs are unistrut. At the base of them I welded a small piece of angle iron facing outward so that when elevated the unistrut wouldn't come out completely from the channel. When the camper is in closed position the legs actually don't touch the floor bottom. The pull pin plus an additional pin that I installed keep it in place. You can see this more clearly in my initial videos. Hope this helps.
@@averagedadbuilds5813 just watched some more of your videos. Again, great job! I'll probably reach out later with more questions about your build list (if you don't mind). Thanks for responding!
Best words for any trailer owner, " oops, wrong key." Loved the video man.

The struts are made by Maxpow 35.43 inches. Had to look them up!
I'm using a ladder rack n I order 4 struts that will hold 200lb , I hope I can pull them down n up lol
Very nice job. Hope mine turns out this well
Nice build! Spare tire in the future?
Actually already built it and in use! It also holds my axe and shovel. I will make a video on it soon!
What refrigerator are you using?
Costway aka Stakol, it is an inexpensive fridge but has worked great for the moment for my needs.
@@averagedadbuilds5813 Thanks for the info and great ideas for my trailer build.
What size square tube did you use with the unistrut?
Hello, I used a 1.5 square tube so that the unistrut could fit into it.
@@averagedadbuilds5813 what thickness did you go with?
@@elm_street_adventures6465 I went with 9 Guage, 0.156", 3.970mm from my local metal shop.
What did you use for the base of the legs, and the legs themselves?
