No cover required for the charging port during operation in the pool. I blow it out before plugging it in, but it doesn't seem to trap water or say you need to do that. Thanks for the comment!

I think the lightweight aspect is a huge bonus after the pool robot you had before that was 80 lbs.

Does the charging port need to be covered and or dryed before recharging?
