💯 I couldnt agree more. K-12 definitely need positive role models. Our kids here in SW Detroit don't see many Success stories. Once girls hit high school they only concerned about a boy... and boys only worried about slangin' that quick money. I had a child tell me on a field trip: "I only come to school for the free lunch". To see potential drain out of so many kids, is heartbreaking & I see it every year. If it weren't for a teacher in JROTC, I'd be de-d or in Prison. I pray for these kids.
