It opens with the west Blvd station. That's my back yard. I wanted to buy that restaurant across the street for years to turn it into a cafe. I love that building. This is literally my back yard. I had ideas for such a "food" and coffee place. Someone kinda took my idea later on and did similar thi gs on Madison ave
It's not a good location that's why the building is abandoned. Ya I know. But it's a loss because I like the building. You know the one, that old Italian restaurant that's all boarded up. The one with the balcony and deck. It's an awful location.
I will never get that "cautious pedestrian bus is approaching" voice out of my head. One day in Cleveland and it was engrained on my brain. I swear I hear it in my sleep lol. My first day riding GCRTA was so overwhelming, especially downtown and Windermere. Buses were EVERYWHERE, no matter the time of day. I don't get that in my town. Plus we don't have a subway system either so that alone was huge to me. I used to think GCRTA was overpriced at $5 for all day till I realized just how much you could ride. Also I'm sure somebody has already asked but when is GCRTA retiring the grey diesel buses that they use on the county routes etc? I'm pretty sure they're long overdue. Although they do have those Police warning flashing hazard signal things that are pretty cool.

The first gen NABIs and gillig low floors look very similar.
@@Mrcharles. the gillig has a cummins westport engine and the nabi has the catipilar c9

They only use the grey nabi's on the West side now. I not sure how much longer they will be in service.
Now it's "Caution, Look Both Ways! Pedestrains, Bus Is Approaching, Bus Is Approaching."
