Or just go to Lowe’s and buy stainless nuts for the silver tie down… $20 for the red one, or $2 for new nuts. Not to mention the new one is gonna rust before the end of summer…
keep the american made tie-down and switch to stainless nuts and washers
One of the cheapest mod I have done is to replace the jack it's the biggest peace of junk I have ever seen and if you don't believe test it out! Great vid!
still cruisin in my 04 Taco with my engine light on for the past Decade and rusted frame. proly going on 12,000 miles over due on an oil change. she’s spinning like a top and squealing like a pig.

Deionized water goes in the battery once in a long while, right? My battery has an exhaust cap like yours.
You could’ve just bought some stainless steel nuts at a hardware store. Save some money

Some terminal donuts might reduce the nuts from rusting. Also, Boeshield T9 spray turns into a wax. Great for rusty nuts and bolts.
