There is no such as an individual personality. Every personality is an accumulation or biology as it interacts with environment over the course of a lifetime. So what is being preserved is not an individual but the sum of interrelations.
But at a certain point, the emulation is complex enough to perfectly mimic the original. My point is, who cares. OBVIOUSLY it's not the real thing. It's not claiming to be, but it's close enough to provide moments of joy and remembrance.

BIG $$$$$ for theatre... how does that make you feel better and provide comfort to survivors, unless they suspend belief in reality...
