As my body - definitely not HABIT - so I decided to stop - just like that - and am STILL OFF TOBACCO completely- Now it is almost 25 years left in 95 - started smoking in 66 and left cigarettes in 79 and continued Chewing tobacco which I left in 95 So it is a DETERMINATION And sticking to it counts
It would be great if someone started making these videos. And simply said step one, do this, step two do this and so on. Because a nearly 20 min video and the only take away is... imagine what you want with your eyes closed, then learn to do it with your eyes open as if you have it. I don't get it because nearly everyone already does this . And what is"broaden focus" there is no explanation.
It’s a life long process- practice. Start with meditation ( guided meditations all over RUclips). Regulate your emotions. Study zen or Buddhist meditation. These are stepping stones. Start. Continue.
Find a place where you feel comfortable. Calm down, focus on your body, talk to it, repeat the words, imagine what it looks like and keep doing it. It's not easy, it takes time, patience and self-confidence. Forget about yesterday, about tomorrow, be here and now. Remember that when you talk to yourself, you are talking to God. Regards❤

Sweetheart, we truly need these things.. Without the amigdala, we won't know when danger is near or that a threat is in front of us. Without cortisol, our bodies won't be able to fight or run - it won't have the energy or ability. Without dopamine, you will never be pleased with your life or accomplishment. You won't feel excitement when you see the ones you love, nor will you ever be proud of yourself for achieving success in any goal. You would feel like life is pointless, and doing anything to be a better human being isn't worth it, because you wouldn't FEEL any difference. Simply put, you would be depressed and feel like their is no point to being alive. The most simple example I've ever heard when discussing the importance of the amygdqla and cortisol is that of a bear (discussing toxic stress/childhood trauma), but I'm going ise and adjust the story to apply it here so you understand exactly what it is you are "praying" for God to remove... Let's say you went rock climbing. Last uear you hit a ne2 hight and was so proud of yourself (cause last year, you had the much needed brain chemical which we call dopamine). Now you don't have dopamine anymore. You've been struggling with purpose in your life. You might have the serotonin, but what you didn't know is our brain chemicals do not work without the others. One effects another effects another. Therefore, your smile is pointless, and your "happiness" actually feels empty. Back to the story. Here we go, super short.. ready?? So you decided randomly you wanted to beat your score from last year. So you went rock climbing. For some reason your body struggled with having the usual amount of energy. But you made it! What now? Well, arnt you proud? Hmmm.. no? Not without dopamine. Dopamine is the chemical that produces that tells us YES I DID IT! But you don't have this, so you actually feel like you wasted your time and energy and you want to just go home. You begin to find the trail to do that, and youbsee a mama bear and her cub. You ready to end this story? - you walk up to the cub which is right next to mama bear to pet him/her. Now you are dead. Why? Because "G-d" removed your amydala and cortisol. At the very moment you saw the bear, your amydala was supposed to alert you/your brain letting you know "danger" which, in turn, is supposed to trigger the release of cortisol, giving your body the adrenaline it needs to either fight or run, or at least think that something must be done to protect yourself. (Also, remember how tired you were rock climbing? Yea, you needed the amygdala and cortisol for that, as well, to know that if you grab 'that rock' instead of 'this rock', you will likely fall to your death. And because it's a risky activity, your amygdala and cortisol are what's needed to keep you alive and safe... and the dopamine is so you can be proud you made it and celebrate your accomplishment. I guess we didn't need the bear story, but now there are two examples to help you understand. What we can pray for protection over is when people have a bear in their home (an abusive parent ir spouse), and so their amygdala and cortisol are way over active constantly saying danger danger and ttheir minds and bodies want so badly to fight or run... but they can't... they are stuck in this fight/flight mode, and are experiencing trauma everyday on top of this. This leads to mental health issues, physical health issues, and things like addiction and alcoholism. This is not the brains fault. It's the trauma. Pray for these people to be freed.
