What a world where Fox had a 70:30 matchup on Puff if it was willing to lame it out in Melee, but Puff is favired vs Fox in Ultimate
Fox puff in melee is more of a 60-40 fox favour. Puff can juggle very well and control approach with bair but fox is very fast, and kills her at like 50 on missed sdi so its a bad matchup

@@Mike-di3mo it still requires one super specific input thats easily punished and telegraphed. Fox can do it it from almost any move on his kit and is a lot more consistent. Also a rest can and sometimes is a stock trade. falco i just think he has some good tools to stop puff from camping with ledgegrab limit, and laser hurts approaching and tacks damage, but puff can also beat a lot if falco stuff so 50-50
What I love about fighting games is that the real strong characters can still struggle against bad characters like min min who is probably a top 10 character and puff pretty bad character can really beat her up

How should I grip the controller? I have a hard time doing dair loops and short hopping so I hold it like a claw. Do you press Y to jump and do you need to fast fall to do dair loops?
I jump with y and no don’t fastfall you short hop buffer dair so it auto cancels perfectly
I like jump on a shoulder input, but I play with a pro controller so there's one extra button up there and they are all clicky instead of springy.
It takes some time to get used to, but highly worthwhile for several genres of games.
Set a jump to trigger if u use stock grip. I use claw but still have my r button as jump so i can do idj a bit better

Ok real replie, puff bets kirby decently in the air and yes kirby does beat puff somewhat on the ground but it's really close

No it doesn't lol it more even because puff combos and edgeguards as well as killing him early fox while fox umm can kill puff really early and is extremely fast. So it's even not fox or puff favored

As a Byleth main, I disagree with your placement of the MU. While indeed, Byleth is slow as hell and can't catch Jigglypuff on the air with movement, neither can Jigglypuff approach Byleth safely because of the massive disjoints Byleth has. And the character just kills WAY too early with the proper set ups. The thing is, Byleth has AMAZING anti airs, meaning that she (I'll refeer to Byleth as she) can catch Puff either horizontally with side-b, fair, or Bair, or vertically with up air or up-b. The recovery as well, good puffs won't just DESTROY Byleth's recovery as you say, because Byleth can usually throw moves that all beat puffs other moves, or just stall the tether until the lingering hitbox of NAir dissapears. I'd say at best is even for puff or Byleths has the advantage because, while Jigglypuff's advantage state is extremely explosive just as you said, Byleth's is just as good if not better. BUT HEY, it's my opinion, and how I see this MU going, you don't have to agree, just wanted to make my point of view clear. Great vid otherwise
