LYRICS
Idaho
[Verse 1]
I hate that sound
They've all been used by now
My doubt's too loud
But it's beauty I turned down
[Pre-Chorus]
I kept on holding out for the downside
Before I knew why
I don't think I can win my pride on time
[Chorus]
I'm losing all the while
I'm losing all the while
[Verse 2]
I'll keep you out
My body knows me now
I'll try to be without
Sleep on your shoulder for now
[Pre-Chorus]
I'll keep on holding out for the downside
Before I knew why
I don't think I can win your side on time
[Chorus]
I'm losing all the while
I'm losing all the while
Falling Apart
Looking at the TV
Thinking that you're dreaming
I don’t think you know
How to handle
You have got to step up
Show that you can be enough
Make it okay
It's hard to swallow
[Chorus]
Why don’t you go back
To falling apart
You were so good at that
You're one in a million now
You don’t want to take the time
You just need to seem alright
[Verse 2]
Feeling like a deadbeat
Everything is incomplete
I don’t think you know
What it takes for
Looking at the feeling
I know that you’re missing
Take it away
I've got to let go
[Chorus]
Why don’t you go back
To falling apart
You were so good at that
You're one in a million now
You don’t wanna take the time
You just got to be alright
Why don’t you go back
To falling apart
You were so good at that
You're one in a million now
You don’t wanna take the time
You just got to be alright
Track
You wait for a spot on the track again
You're painted like an old pearl strand
Feeling old ways
Call it gone days
And I love the crossing lines on your face
Hope you feel the same
You’re a nice day
A forgotten place
Away
Do you recall my name
It’s okay I’ll stay
Love you the same
I'll try to salt the fruit like you did
But it doesn't fit
In a lost state
Not a mistake
Today
I will recall your name
I see you in my face
Love you always
A lot has changed
Always
So much has stayed
Today
I will recall your name
I see you in my face
I will recall your name
I see you in my face
Love you always
Love you always
Love you always
Trade It
I know now
I’m not all that you wanted
You’ll fool yourself
I’ll take back all that you gutted
I’m almost out
Unlearning but it’s not worth it
And I’ll fall back down
Try to feel something much different
For it’s honest
I’m all I’ve had
I’m coming to take it back
Trade it back for it
Trade it back for
Did you taste it again
The metal I think it’s subsiding
My mouth’s at its end
Trying to say it’s love that I’m hiding
For it’s honest
I’m all I had
I’m coming to take it back
Trade it back for it
Trade it back for
(For)
It’s all that I’m asking
(For)
It’s all that I’m asking
(For)
It’s all that I’m asking
For it’s honest
I’m all I had
I’m coming to take it back
(It’s all that I’m asking)
Trade it back for it
(It’s all that I’m asking)
Trade it back for
Montana
I’m a bad mess
I’m a loner with no plans
Go back home
Try again
Again
I don’t wanna be a backwards man
Come on get out of my head
Head
Head
I’m a contest
I’m a loser with no chance
Hold my hand
Again
Again
I don’t wanna be a backwards man
Come on get out of my head
