    I haven't seen a better representation of post-Boyle Britain than this. Thank you.

    Another awesome vid as always! Why does the video clips that were used make me think of THREADS?

      @DownChunderofficial  6 лет назад +3

      Down Chunder Awesome! I guess post apocalypse stuff was a popular genre in Britain in the 70s-80s?

    There's an 80s BBC programme about a nuclear attack. I think it's called 'Threads'. You'd have a lot of fun with that mate.

      Threads is a nightmare! I can't imagine seeing that as a scared British kid in 1984!

      Ahhh so you already know about it? It's got more material than a Taiwanese sweat shop.

    I don't get the Subo hate here... she has a good voice. She's not exactly an oil painting, but she can sing pretty well.
    The sinister thing is Cowell's manipulation of a fragile person, not her musical skills.

      I agree Anon B, Cowell (and Morgan too, why not) are the villains here. I read Susan's book and I just felt sorry for her, treated like Truman in the Truman Show really.
      Besides, I can't hate a cat lover.

      Down Chunder I live in Edinburgh (so a few miles from here home town) and know a few people who know her. Yes, she is a bit "weird", but she's not a bad 'un.
      I think she deserves some of her fame, but having Cowell promoting her and the paparazzi (or however you spell it) sneaking around after her... not so good.

      Cowell is an opportunistic wrongun. As is that Morgan bell cheddar.

      I recognise Rosalie Crutchley there as the mother. Don't remember this series at all.
