- I pre-recorded this in the summer of 2008. This is one of my favorite games on the genesis console.
I like how the left and right audio channels desynch when the stack gets high. I think it's cool.
I remember this game well, my mom used to play it a lot on my old Genesis, and when I was in 2nd grade she got so pissed off at my school's guidance counselor, she came home and put the game on and made it to level 96. lol
Every time I think you've made a mistake you turn it into a sick combo 3 moves later. you made me want to play this again
Columns is a really fun game.

Maybe my mental health completely deteriorated during this pandemic, but I didn't remember Columns was this intense and nerve-wracking!!!
One of my favorite Genesis games.
Back in college I was playing after a come down with some friends the night after a rave. I got in some kind of zone. We'd never got past level 40 before.
No idea how long the game went, but it was freaking everyone out. They eventually had to pull the plug to stop me.
Last night, I got to level 196 in this game.

I got far af last night too. It seems like after a point the difficulty stops ramping and it comes down to endurance.

I haven't played it for a long time. Good old days.
Man, I used to play that a lot as a kid when I was like 9 or 10. There was one instance that I was locked into the same game for an hour....can't remember what score I got. I was playing safe.
If I was to play now, I dunno what score I'll get lol. Fking rusty lol.
I had a few moments like that. I was also 9. Same with my older brother. He was 20 and didn't play games much. But this was the only game he was better than me at, so he liked holding that over me. We both played for so long once. Both completely over playing the game, but not willing to give up. Eventually I fell and my brother got a second wind, wanting to see how much longer he could go. He went on for another 15 minutes and then just ended it. He never played it again after that.

I am going to master this by creating an unrealistic strategy...I reset my game 2 times playing this and they are the same jewels....or at least figure out when solids come down and when mixed ones do to line them up right...my highest score is 1,613,622 but just randomly playing.

wish i remembered my score etc. one thing i do remeber was getting to a max lvl. onec you hit the the game goes back to lvl 1.

4 colors... Get this: my bro and I used to have this kind of a challenge on this one. The challenge consists: MENU--> Flash Columns--> CLASS: Pro--> HEIGHT: 9. I did it in 54 seconds, then my bro had to beat it: he did it in 42 seconds. Is not easy and makes it up for an intense gaming

This Game lets you know you a smart person , anybody over a certain speed,with the score, lets you know that ain't normal it will freak you out that a million or above on this Game. Says intelligence or it could be luck or just magic or I say because of the game YOU WANTED TO BE RICH AS HELL

I have a plug-and-play Genesis (that was developed by AtGames) and I managed to get FAR past this guy's score. Something just over 27 million - level 82, 4146 jewels.
That's what I got...I used to play all the other games and decided to play this one what a good game!!! I never seen this technique before...have you? or do you use this one?
With 4 colors 99,999,999 score should be possible.
