LG finally released a firmware update for the SN11RG. Seems they’ve fixed the rear bass issue and from my testing, have changed the sound profile for the better.

I'm waiting to view your entire review of the SN11RG I have the 2019 Sl10YG and its awesome was considering the 2020 model with the new features.

NeverEnoughTech unfortunately not up yet! i'm going out to buy this soundbar today over the samsung hw-q950t. a big reason for me (from what i've read) is the superior surround sound.

Finally we gonna get comparison with Samsung hw-q950t but the configuration of channel match with Samsung q90r, anyway I waiting and please do JBL 9.1 sound bar

Looking forward to the comparison to the Samsung flag ship 👍. Also have you reviewed the Nakamichi 9.2.4 shockwafe? Been hearing good things and that's its a better value for money once you can handle the wiring.
I’ve heard a few commenters say good things about it. It’s on my top five list to get to ... if just for the two subs 😎

@@MrKemron just recieved my Nakamichi 7.1.4 for my bedroom and its sounding amazing..! My brother is receiving the larger dual 10's Nakamichi this weekend for his living room.. cant wait to hear that set up
the_only_kem 1 I have the 9.2.4 and those two 10 inch subwoofers 🔊 🔊 👊🏽🤙🏽🤟🏽are the best. It’s more of an immersive feeling throughout the room. I definitely thought about the Sonos Arc , Samsung Q90R, and LG SN 11. I did my research and it’s Nakimachi for the win! It’s incredible!!!

Could you also compare it with the JBL bar 9.1? Both systems have Google Assistent and the JBL bar 9.1 also the Google Home app, so you van cast music without to turn on tour TV, which is niet available on the Samsung soundbar(s).
LG soundbar is very wide, matching 65 inch TV. JBL is smaller, better matching smaller TVs, like a 50 inch.
That’s my plan at the moment

I check every day to see if this review is done, I have the Sonos arc with sub and 2SL‘s on the back, looking to see if this is a better option for Atmos, gaming and regular TV since I have an LG and it’s compatible. If not I’ll keep my Sonos, which is brand new, but definitely waiting for this review eagerly so that if I do find That this is a better package I still have time to take it back to the store and exchange it

You sold me on Sonos over the amazing software of the Samsung’s so need your thought on the LG vs a Sonos Arc 1SL and Sub 3 pairing. Do the upfiring speakers really make a difference over the Sonos? PS never not ding!
I think LG and Samsung take 3D audio more seriously than Sonos - and you can hear it. The rear upward firing speakers and true rear support play no small part. If you are on a mission for peak Atmos soundbar sound you should probably shy away from Sonos. If you want decent Atmos sound and Airplay2 and multiroom audio and great content integration ... I'd go Sonos. You might ask yourself how often you watch more intense action movies/series relative to more chill slow bun dramas and comedies. I think it's those visceral action scenes where Atmos really shines (over surround). So that is another data point to throw in your purchasing algorithm ... I think the ding is here to stay ... it has a mind of its own
When will you do the comparison? I really hesitating between the 950T and the SN11RG

Please explain why pairing the soundbar with a TV screen smaller than 65 may affect the brightness of the TV (4:18 to 4:26). I have a LG CX 55. There is presently a $700 discount on the sound bar, which is a great deal. I'm about to pull the trigger but I'm puzzled by your comment. I don't want to damage my TV. How on earth would a sound bar affect the brightness of a TV?
Well that was just a bad joke - the big soundbar will make the smaller tv feel inadequate - TVs don’t feel inadequate in real life. There is 0 threat to your TV.

I have this soundbar and it is good, but I’m sure there’s a bug with it. I have the LG C9 tv and have eARC on for uncompressed audio. I think that there is an issue with eARC and the SN11 decoding atmos content. In big scenes wheres there’s lots of sounds etc.. it becomes dull and quiet. Apparently a reviewer said something similar that the SN11 has issues with decoded sound formats properly over eARC so ends up being at times washed out audio.
I rated the SN11 sound as being not as precise as the Q950T with 3D sound. I didn’t sense that it was “bug” level worse. I tested on a LGC9 and a 2017 Q70 Samsung TV. The dialogue issue never expressed itself to me in a way that I felt it was broken somehow. That’s just my experience.
Can you please answer this question. i currently have the Logitech Z906. My guess is the the LG SN11RG is a really good upgrade. (in terms of audio and design)But i hear people complainting about LG SN11RG to not (or barely ) able to hear voice when a scene of a movie has lots of action. i really only owed either TV speakers or the Z906.
I don’t have experience with the Z906. If you think the LG is a good fit. Can you buy and return. I did not experience the dialogue issue to the extent that some internet people are decrying

As far as I understand you consider LG SN11 as one of the best soundbars on the market. But what do you think about Bowers & Wilkins Formation Bar or Klipsch Cinema 600 Sound Bar + Klipsch Surround 3 or Yamaha sounbars? I suppose they have much better sound than LG, Samsung, JBL and other mass consumption soundbars?
Well you are responding to an unboxing I did a review/comparo in a subsequent video. I don’t know how these others match up. I haven’t tested them yet. It is unclear how much their sound prestige transfers to soundbars. I plan on finding out.
@@neverenoughtech Certainly I watched all your reviews about soundbars including comparison of LG11 with Samsung950. The reason is common- the problem of choice between them)). Your reviews are really nice because of practical usage. For example I have already decided to buy Samsung 950 but was lucky enough to examine your information about silly software and crazy display on the top and I am absolutely agree with you - It would have worsened all the impression. So still in the process of choosing))). But if you have a choice Between Sonos Arc, Lg11, Samsung Q90 and JBL9 - what would you choose?
@@neverenoughtech Today I was lucky to test 3 soundbars in a big digital store:
1. Lg 11
2. JBL 9.1
3. Yamaha YSP 2700
I didn’t notice any significant difference in sound between 1. and 2. I tested DTS and Dolby Atmos promo video downloaded from internet.
And I was really amused by Yamaha sound.
Although it doesn’t have rear surrounds.
It’s worth saying that it is much smaller in size, as was being said doesn’t have rear surrounds , a model of 2018, and still costs more money than 1. and 2.
So, I would appreciate if you make also Yamaha soundbar review. Hope you can afford to buy it in addition to others) or may be you know the way to give money back )).

What if I need to run 3 HDMI 2.1 through this what is the best way to set it up? I can’t find anything online that highlights how to connect everything. Example: Apple TV 4K, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
I think you need to get an HDMI switch (its ugly but the bar only handles two passthroughs)
I just purchased this, what surround sound/satellite speaker stand is recommended. i purchase a Sanus Euro Series stand, Model EFSAT-B1 but doesn’t seem compatible. Any recommendations for stands?

Optical is not compatible with DD+, Dolby True HD, which both can deliver 3D audio

Hi I just got mine today I was wondering if you know any good sound demos I can use
If you can grab an nvidia shield you could download uncompressed Dolby Atmos and surround files and play through the shield with a USB. Best movie I’ve encountered is mad Max played through Blu-ray

Next few days ... I’m aware the delay has been longer than optimal. I’m not important enough to do this full time and I tend to make the vid more complex than it needs to be.
I returned this soundbar cause when I was watching anything with action the center channel gets muffled dialogue. WTF?

Hi. is it possible to run ai callibration with just the bar and the sub, i wont be able to fit rears in the room.
I don’t think the calibration is optimized for that. I never sense that it makes much of a difference anyway
