Thanks so much! Oh I love both of those, they are a joy to work on. When I first got back into stitching, I was all in on the full coverages and such, but over the last few years, I've been finding Samplers that really call to me and I've been loving working on them.

@@thesteadfaststitcher don’t worry Beth. I often blank when filming too! The Pilgrim is going really well. I stitched on it a couple of evenings last week and am going to this week too. I finished Happily Ever After and didn’t want to kit anything else up just yet. Hope you’re still enjoying yours. 😊

Was so interested to hear about the different color choices for Arabesque as I was thinking of changing it up as well. Holly Hobby - our company started way back in the early 70's making and selling decoupage plaques and Holly Hobby was a big seller...!
Holly Hobby really brings back some memories! Arabesque is such a gorgeous stitch and I love seeing it in different colors. Recently saw it in a royal purple and it was stunning ❤️
I loved seeing the Paris. My favorite city is Venice and I’ve not used the floss to date, now I need to!

Love the Subdued fabric; go for it with the Quaker. The Paris in PROVENCE is so lovely. I have ordered several of the variable threads you have shown; haven't used, but I'm ready for the right pattern.
Of course you had to hit my checkbook, and i ordered the SUMMER SAMPLER. You only mentioned the fall one, so i got it, too. I'm a sucker for a squirrel.

I love Arabesque.. and the way that everyone's color choices are so beautiful. I was going to move over to the border, but I'm not sure how I want to handle it. I hope to spend some time with it this weekend. I was browsing through my digital charts, and I have the Nature Quaker too.. Your colors are beautiful; I have some one-off colors from Colour and Cotton that might work well with that piece. Your floss makes the Provence Sampler just sing; I'd never really cared for it, but now I'm thinking I might need to track it down lol. You're a Master Enabler! 🪡👠

Your samplers are GORGEOUS!!!! I absolutely love the beautiful colors you chose! When u stitch w the dmc var. floss, do u use 1 strand or 2? If u use 2 do u prefer to stitch w 2 sep strands or do u do a loop start? I have several patterns im itchin to start w several diff variegated flosses and was looking to get some pointers for the best way to get the color in without it looking all splotchy if u know what i mean lolol...the way u r putting urs in looks so great!! 🪡❤️
Hi! Thanks so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it. With the variegated dmc, I don't do loop starts because it messes up the variegation. So it's one or two threads depending on the count fabric that I'm using. But I do love the dmc variegated flosses, I think they're often overlooked.
@@thesteadfaststitcher I agree! The dmc var. are quite nice!!! I had gotten the christmas one (4520 I think it is? I forget lol) but I'm looking forward to doing a holiday themed one w that, among several other shades w other patterns. Tysm...I will definitely heed your advice when i get to starting my designs w 2 stands and not use the loop 😁
