Additionally, you took your time and gracefully guided the viewer through each step from beginning to the end of your great presentation. Thank you for your knowledge and understanding of this subject. This has really helped me through my anxiety of trying to write html. Please don't stop giving such wonderful presentations. Really helpful tutorial - thanks. I just want to build my website from scratch rather and it can feel rather overwhelming! I’ve just started the CSS section on free code camp but have had to admit defeat! So going here to work through some of these tutorials to do my website.

OMG TYSM!!! You receive a new subscriber! I knew HTML for 4 days when I was watching "visual studio code tutorial" and then I followed what he code, the guy in the video is using HTML, after that, I thought I understand HTML after I watched the video, so I tried a new folder at the exact same code, but I forgot everything! so for the day after I tried using CSS, but it was so hard (for me), On day 3 I tried using Javascript but it was harder than CSS! and today, when I was scrolling on youtube I found this video... so I tried the second time hoping I understand this time, AND THANK GOD I UNDERSTAND, I WAS SO HAPPY!!! Tomorrow I'll open your channel and find a CSS tutorial video!!
edit: sorry if there's bad grammar!)

I must confess that your method of teaching this course is so unique. Prior to this time, I'd lost interest in coding, probably because of the way I was thought. However the way you broke down this course has made me pick up interest and poised to become a full stack developer soon

Jessica's channel is Coder Coder. Not sure if she has a CSS tutorial, but if not just search around here.
For CSS, focus a lot of time on learning Grid and responsive design because there are billions of people around the world who browse on their phones. This is something that 💯% of people will agree on!
I recommend making simple websites first. Create basic ones like the old looking ones from the 2005 Myspace days or the ones that look like boring blogs. Nothing fancy, but start small and simple because you're a newbie trying to understand the basic fundamentals. If you immediately try to jump into creating something complex, you may run into problems and get discouraged.
Later as you progress, start making clones like Amazon, Netflix, or Steam. It may be challenging, but you will learn a lot and gain more confidence.
      All the best!

Please don't teach/show bad practices for beginners! The tag's border attribute is deprecated sincs HTML 4.01 (almost 20 years now) and obsolete since HTML5. So it really *does not exist*. Those who learn HTML nowadays should not know about these attributes at all, let alone use it anywhere in their web pages. Either show the proper, valid way to put a border around an image (I understand you didn't want to get into CSS in this video), or don't show it at all.
Similarly, in HTML5 doesn't have border, cellpadding and cellspacing attributes. These are all obsolete and not part of the standard.

it's not obsolete if it works - sometimes knowing a quick shortcut comes in handy for quick testing or maybe a temp page for sales or office memo/email

Amazing and well articulated. I had a basic knowledge of html. But I was just memorising the jagons and regurgitating them. Now I understand what each command means, and I can actually command it instead of memorising. Thank you. I would love to learn css and js too.
