Incase Kaz didn’t know, he doesn’t need to keep going into settings and can tap the resolution and frame rates in the camera app to cycle through the different settings!
Yeah! Just film it at the best res and fps, then change it in post! Only reason not to is storage space.
@@thegloriouspotato6223 He's stating that while you have the iphone camera app open you can tap the corner to change the resolution / rate.
@@thegloriouspotato6223 not true, shooting in 24 fps will get you a more realistic look than 60 fps

It's unreal that you can do all that on a phone, like 10 years ago you would need a lot of professional grade DSLR's and video cameras to get results like that and even then 240fps slo-mo would be extremely cost prohibitive and processing power to film or edit 240fps was not widely available
its so wild, you'd need to drop a whole paycheck on the camera equipment, another paycheck on the computer to edit it, and one last one for the actual software. Now you just do it all on your phone with a free version of premier in an hour or two.
@@MidWestMTB iMovie works just as good bro. For an edit like that that’s easy work in iMovie lol

I remember that I entered photography contest and all my opponents are using DSLR while me is just using IPHONE6S with crappy wide lens that I bought in online shop and Guess what I won my self in a first place

I love this, very inspirational. One tip though, is that you can change the video frame rate by tapping the upper right corner. Makes it a lot more convenient than switching to settings every time.
They needed some more minutes of video so they could run some more mid roll ads lol 😂

'The Road from Karakol' an all time favourite bike/ adventure film and all shot on a crappy old GoPro. Amazing story and pure fun. Always go back to that as a reminder when obsessing over which cine lens to use or thinking every film needs to be shot in 8K!

Same as with bikes: The skills are way more important than the tools
Man, having that 2x lense is clutch. My A5 only has a standard and wide. Not like I'm looking to upgrade but definitely something I'll be keeping in mind on the next phone. It's been impossible to get a lot of the shots I want without it.

Just a tip: if you hit the little arrow next to the flash controls it reveals a ton of settings like exposure and aspect ratio. It lets you actually set a specific level of exposure not just a random level on the little dial you move.

That was a sick edit. I didn’t know about the exposure thing. Also you can tap the top left 4K 60 to change it without going into settings.
