Oh wow, I have visited and stayed in PG over 10 times, which is not bad considering I live in the UK. (Between 1996 and 2001) Such a wonderful place and I made many great friends there. I can see from the recent pic's that the skyline has changed alot! Loved the KOMTAR!
David, well done!!! We loved Penang, beautiful Island, hot sunshine, beautiful coconut trees, friendly and helpful people of Penang. We from UK, loves to visit Penang again and again, hope to emigrant to Penang soon....
Thanks epchandavid, this is a great slide show. Very nice work, and beautiful music. I was in Penang for a few days a couple of years ago, and I LOVED it ! I WILL RETURN !
I share the same feeling as you... when I was in Penang... I always wanted to go other states/countries... But, after studying and working in Singapore for years... I miss Penang so very much... Penang is such a lovely place...
It's been 8 years and counting as well for me. No matter how far I went, Penang is always the hometown I always loved. I promised myself that when I retire, Penang is where I will be spending the rest of my life. To echo Dorothy's sentiments: "There is no place like home!"
Hi David, we in Penang now, alots of development, especially along the way up to Batu Ferringhi, we still need the Green in Penang, not too city life. We were at Gurney Drive on New Year Eve, beautiful fireworks at Esplanade and Straits Quay. I guess we'll be staying in Penang for long time.
I miss Komtar, I miss the Campbell street Briyani. I miss the Chowrasta market. I miss Mee Goreng Singapore in Craven A. I miss Penang Road. I miss Beach Street, Weld Quay and Pitt Street. I miss Nasi Kandar at the old Penang Bus Station and in front of Gama. And most of all, I miss the ferry. Oh, how I miss Penang!
I been to Malaysia, but never to Penang, as what i've heard, its an awesome place, I wanna go there... and experience he adventure....soon...hopefully...

Well, I hope so too that DAP can further develop Penang and make Penang into a nice world-class city... But, I hope is not the second Singapore or Hong Kong... because Penang should have its specialty and unique features that other places don't have... Just my personal view
@TvxqJunior I don't agree... Penang is Penang... Penang will never be 2nd Singapore or Hong Kong because Penang is unique and it has always been. I want to see Penang to develop into a more liveable and cheerful and happy place rather than a big modern cities like Sg or HK... that's my personal point of view! Cheers
Oh Famisim, you definitely get me wrong... What I was trying to say is that any people from any race could be terrorist... Sorry if I mislead you... Anyway, this video is dedicated to people who loves Penang, misses Penang and would like to see more of Penang!
