Thanks Geoff for another great video. I do like FreeCAD, but I find it rarely lets me do what I want to do, instead I find myself spending more time finding workarounds than I do actually designing. You hit upon an example of this when you wanted to create a mirror of a mirror, which is a perfectly valid thing to want to do. I will add a couple of examples a little later of things that I struggle with. But in any case, thanks again for the video, and enjoy the coffee :)
Hi John, Thanks for your kind words and the coffee. The coffee will have to be an iced one 'cos I'm heading up north for a few weeks with my day job and the temperature is around 37C. I know what you mean about finding workarounds - I've had to do that a few times myself. Please feel free to let me know what your struggling with and I'll try to help you out.
Thanks for your kind words. No it is not possible to hide the original feature in a mirror. I can't think of a reason why you would want to, so what is your use case that requires it?
Thank you for Great videos. If I use the PART work bench, Mirror a solid; can I do further work on the mirrored part with out effecting the original part? The left side , and the right side of my cabinet have the same top, bottom, and back dados, but the left side needs peg holes for shelves, and the right side needs pockets for hinges.
Thanks for your kind words. I'm glad that you're finding them useful. I have very limited experience with the Part workbench because I use Part Design for my work as I think it fits the way I work better. I don't believe that you'll be able to modify the original without the mirror getting the same changes. I would create two separate parts rather than use a mirror.
Hi Gregory, it turns out that I was a little over optimistic about getting the multi-transform tool done in January. I will be covering it this year though. Sorry

Thanks (I think)

Again an excellent demonstration Geoff!
Thanks Paul. Your encouragement is much appreciated

@@GlassonDesignStudio Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I like what you are doing. Keep up the great work.
could you explain how to use the multitransform feature to put that 4th slot in the remaining corner?
Hi Gregory, I will be releasing a video on the multitransform tool in January

Select the pocket, Create multitransform feature: add two transformations: mirror on vertical axes and mirror on horizontal axes => OK
