Manowar hit me hard back in -83. First two albums, Battle Hymns and Into Glory Ride were out. next year came two other albums, Hail to England and Sign of the Hammer, which are the best albums IMO. Next two were decent ones, but then it started to be a bit boring. Yet, I love that they are still around and playing all over the world!! I never get tired listening Joey's bass sound and licks he pulls out his instruments!!

I saw these guys back in 1987 (or 1988. was a long time ago) in a little metal hall that had about 300 - 400 people there. Very small place, but extremely loud . I look at the crowds they play to now internationally and am always amazed at how far they've come Their recorded music is ok, but their live shows are on a different level. See them live if you have the chance to.
