That is a beautiful watch. Quite a bit outside of my price range until the kids are all grown and off on their own, but definitely one I could see myself wearing. Thank for the review!
Hey Randy! I’ve moved over from your audio channel. Just wanted to say that I enjoy viewing your enthusiastic watch reviews, and I don’t even wear a watch, or have any interest in buying them! The informational entertainment in your videos is worth it to me.
Very nice looking Zodiac watch and excited to see what Fossil can do bringing Zodiac back to it's glory days. I have a few Fossil watches that I really like. Thier best start is sending you a watch for review. Keep It Going!
@@cheapwatchman_official I have a few watches that I think are quality but inexpensive. If you are interested in reviewing any of them, I would be happy to send them your way. Your teasing and cajoling will drive me distraction and audiological or horological purchases and turn me into a phile. 😁👍 Keep up the great work and thanks for your time 😁
Dang that's a lovely watch!. By the way Your OG channels not showing up in my feed! I geuss they looked at your channels. You are very good at reviewing stuff. Very good.
What a cool lime color. Great review 5 stars and I subscribed.....Owning a submarine and oyster perpetual date this watch should have been and may be in my collection someday. Thanks again for the great review. Good luck with your channels.

fun fact: JCPenney has watches cheaper than Amazon right now. found out right after I purchased a protrek for $45 more than JCP would have charged. Doh! I do not work for JCPenney. I would think a Casio edifice would be in the cheap watchman's future content though.

Been a fan of your Cheapaudioman channel, and low and behold, we share the watch obsession too. Thanks for giving Steinhart some props on your audio channel, even though they may be "poser/homage" watches, I think they do a pretty good job and offer great value. In the watch world they have a bad rap from the watch snobs, not sure why. Personally, I bought the early Ocean One Blue with the SOPROD movement and really enjoy it. I've been contemplating a blog/channel myself covering value products in many areas, so both of your channels hit home with me. Many thanks.
Really nice watch face ,love the triangle markers.shame about the lume.the case back is OK better if it was an embossed logo.did mention the lume being poor but I did like the colour it's unusual and stands out from other lumed watches.i would buy one.thanks for video regards carl from cov UK.
I’m howlin’ for this zodiac watch. If I put a lamb skin strap on it, would it be a wolf in sheep‘s clothing? This looks like a great watch. I would eat it up, if I weren’t wolfing it down. I’ll be leaving now. I’ll be leaving now.Tip your server.
i've heard the lume on this one is not super good, despite being cool. Everything about this watch's design is right up my alley, just wish they used some proper lume.
Orange lume is never very bright, just like the glow in the dark toys when we were children. That's why you don't see it used very often. I own a Squale Luminoso Arancia and it's the same way. It's the sacrifice you make if you love the color.
There are many conflicting stories about first automatic watches so hard to prove. Guessing they all mean first based on type of automatic designs. I read Fortis in 1926, using John Harwoods design from 1923. I read Rolex and Glycine in 1930. There is also Zodiac with the "first automatic sports" in 1930. Per their website "Zodiac launches one of the first Swiss automatic watches" so don't think they are "the first" persay.
a rather elegant timepiece (as they say). I always feel a bit sad when it's an automatic but one cannot peak into the movement. Regardless of its finish, I looove seeing what makes it tick (yes yes I always intend my puns!!) Lovely video Randy. Always good company and informative
Great watch, beautiful dial and with an interesting history. Too bad the lume isn't great. That's a dealbreaker for me. For the price there are more great watches with a ton of lume. Zodiac, please improve and I'm first in line.
The Zodiac killer took his nickname and insignia from this brand. He wore a zodiac for decades. Every time you look at your watch you can think of it's dark legacy
Nice watch. But damn! I thought this was the “cheap watch man” channel… not the “put-yourself-into-hock watch channel”! What’s next? Wearing turtlenecks and poo-pooing the “simply dreadful” esthetics of a Richard Mille? lol

You have a very interesting taste on watches! Right down my alley. What do you think of Squale 1545 in terms of affordability and value?

I really love this watch. That's the one caveat is the lume. But I don't really need it. Was wearing it yesterday on a leather strap and loved it.
