Excellent advice Cam! In fact a lot of these principles could be applied to life in general. I know I've fallen into some of those traps. What advice would you have for an older, hobbiest player like me to help keep my hands in shape? I have been having some tendinitis issues with my picking hand. Keep up the awesome work and thanks!😎🤘👍
Thanks Keith! Appreciate the support as always man. I’ve learned a lot this year about general hand/arm and postural health this last year working with a bunch of people from the Sports science world and would like to at some point talk about this stuff. It’s tricky with those sorts of issues but what everyone seems to say is that movement is medicine. It’s just finding maybe a good practitioner who can help (osteopathy has been best for me and my back, shoulder and hand issues last 2 years). It’s just learning the right sort of stretches and exercises that help alleviate the stress on the tendons and muscles man
@CamBirdMusic Thanks Cam! I have found some stretches and exercises that help. My main issue has been soreness and stiffness in my thumb joint, right hand. I've found an ice pack helps too.
