I bought one for my 17 gen 5 about 9 months ago and added the riser and a red dot. I absolutely love it! I live in the country so Im fortunate enough to have a backyard shooting range. The only problem is, not enough ammo.
@@Stormtrooper_Accuracy it's a classic game I grew up with like many people out there. I thought some people might appreciate the nostalgia from it. If you like Goldeneye 007 I have a few videos on my channel with it. Thanks for the kind comment and stopping by my channel 👊
@PatriotJedi same here, Goldeneye was so much fun back in the day. Heads up, it's also available Nintendo Switch. As for your video, great review. I didn't even know this chassis existed.
@@Stormtrooper_Accuracy I do appreciate it. 🙏 and I don't own a switch anymore I have a huge retro game collection and several copies of goldeneye 007 physical. Not to mention I emulate it on my PC and several handhelds. And I also don't have to pay a monthly fee to be able to play it. I'm more into old-school Nintendo and I do a lot of emulation but sometimes I do miss my switch. But now I have a device that can run up to switch games and has my entire childhood log of games up to 6th gen. So I'm definitely set for now.
Thank you. I have grit grips frames and wanted to attempt configuring it to this kit. It has an extended beavertail though. Is there room for an extended beavertail back there? It’s about 3-4mm longer than OEM, but seems to be thinner. Or would I need to dremmel?
@@DieselDoktor hey glad to hear that! I grew up with it as well and thought some people might appreciate the throwback! Thanks for the comment and also you should check out my latest video upload if you like GoldenEye 007 😎🤙
Ordered one for my Glock 40. I think this is the perfect setup for a backpack gun or backcountry hunting if you don’t wanna lug a heavy firearm with on long walks.
It is definitely viable for that and goes into a small bag rather easy with mags loaded and all. I have no regrets getting it. Its a cool option to have for your glock. Thanks for checking out my video!👊
@@skoolynugenator1802 honestly with life stuff work, have yet to take it to the range but when I do I'll be sure to get some footage of it. Be mindful if you drop it or bump it just right, the tiny round pin that sits in place on the unit itself will snap so it's not exactly military grade toughness. I would just run the pistol optic because if you drop that you can still run your sights but if it's on that external pic rail attachment your optic is down and out.
I can't remember the name of it. But it was a single point sling I found on amazon. I'm sure if you searched you could find it or one similar. And thanks for checking out my video! Hope you enjoy yours when it gets delivered!
It's the recoil of a 9mm pistol ( which is designed to shoot with one hand or 2 and no brace.) With the added points of contact from the brace it is super stable for it being a handgun. I suppose you could always add some padding or something to the back if it was that bad but it's so lightweight and minimal it's not a problem for me.
I picked one of these up and run it with a gen 3 Glock 34. What sling was it that you chose and is that a keychain ring or something else that it was clipped on to?
Hey thank you for checking out my video, very nice by the way hope it serves you well! As for the sling it's just a generic Amazon sling but it suits my preference being a single point. I replaced it because i didn't want my firearm hanging on by the cheap bungie one bouncing around. The Keychain loop I believe came with my kit so I just clip my sling to that loop.
Im 5ft 6 with t rex arms but I can see where someone closer to 6ft would find it uncomfortable trying to use them. Not ideal but they give you a reference.
@@PatriotJedi well I got just the minimum at first but I just ordered the mag holder and pic rails yesterday. And I'ma run my optic on my slide. I have videos of it on my channel
Yes, the ATF brace rule impacted these, but as of August 2024 the ruling has been stayed in the courts meaning the rule doesn't apply. This may change and probably why the prices haven't increased and other competitive solutions like the Flux Raider for Glock are no longer available.
Hey I appreciate that. Thanks for checking out my video. It's pretty awesome just be careful with the rail mounts. They will snap and be rendered useless if they take a fall.
@Kristov_TV the offset is high, and most importantly it did not hold 0 for me. I have since changed to the KPOS scout, and already noticed a significant improvement over the 2020.

How long did it take for you to get the brace?
It looks amazing

Is it comfortable to shoot with the brace accidentally touching your shoulder?

Did the brace ban effect these? I own one for my G17
Not to my knowledge but then again the atf cannot create laws. We have a constitution for a reason.

@@PatriotJedi tha.ks for the advise
A slide mounted red dot makes this a very effective PDW. I would stay away from the optic mounts they offer, I tried one it was a piece of junk.
Good thing in not running a optic lol I am already aware of this.
Why was it a piece of junk??

It would have been nice to show the parts you didn't install that comes with it.
I did in the beginning and even explained it was extra stuff I'm not using. 👍
