Yayyyyy!! I had looked at many yt videos saying ‘beginner Friendly’, and had gone out to buy the materials only to struggle for days to do any before coming across this video!!! Was about to give up honestly and use knitting needles as I’m a knitter and this is my first time ever trying my hand at crocheting THANK YOU!!

Thank you for sharing a wonderful pattern . I have started a sweater using this pattern . Made the body of the sweater so the rows run up and down . Made the ends the opening in the front . Made a raglan sweater top until it was big enough for the bottom . Put together and now an getting ready to go around the whole piece with a trim and do the sleeves .

I was struggling to learn how to turn properly and use the correct stitches so my work was even on the ends. I have been watching a lot of other tutorials on this subject and you are the only one that has made sense to me! So now I think I can do it properly thanks to you! I have subscribed and look forward to many more of your tutorials! Thank you so much!!

I just stumbled across this beautiful pattern. Simplicity at its best. Just what I was looking for. I have been searching for something simple, classic and easy and this is it! I enjoy working with #5 chunky yarn because smaller weight is a strain on my eyes but I wanted a pattern that didn't bulk up my already bulky yarn. Thank you! If you have any other patterns that might work for me like this one I would be very appreciative.

Thank you so much Rebekah for this lovely easy pattern for a beginner like me. I have started making a baby blanket in a deep pink chunky knit yarn and it looks really nice and neat. So simple to do and crochets up quickly too. Going to add a matching border of two tiers treble crochet in cream. Love your tutorials, everything is explained so thoroughly in a calm, soothing voice. You are an excellent teacher! 😀

Like others have said, I’ve watched a lot of videos on crocheting for beginners, but yours are the absolute best. You talk slowly you crochet slowly and you show everything up close. On many videos it’s very hard to see which stitch they’re going in but in yours, it’s very very easy to see and understand. Thank you

Instead of making a vertical stitch for height on your treble crochet at the beginning of the row, can you just chain 2 for your height? Hope that didn't sound too confusing lol.

I've nearly completed a blanket (cot sized) using this pattern. It's turned out well (thank you for the tutorial), however I've struggled with tension and it seems bigger (wider) at the finished edge than at the foundation chain edge. Could you give some tips (or perhaps do a tutorial on tension?) By the way, I love your tutorials, they are so easy to follow and my crochet has improved loads due to watching them, as I say it's just the tension I'm struggling with. Could it be because the blanket is quite large and that's why it's difficult to keep the tension right?

Hi Rachel, I'm a beginner at crocheting. I have made a dozen pot holder (maybe more) lol, dish clothes and coasters. I wanted to make throw blanket so started this blanket yesterday. I'm on my fifth row and started to realize it's a bit wave, like my initial starting chain is tight causing ripple waves. I may not be describing my problem correctly. My question is will my ripples straighten out as I continue with the rows or should I unravel everything and start over? Please answer quickly, I'm addicted to crocheting and need to crochet, lol. I love you videos!!

Love the texture to this blanket. I chained 85 to do mine and because I skipped the first chain to begin with double crochet I understand I should have 84 stitches but I still have 85....is that anything to do with the treble stitches being in there too? I'm so confused 🤯🤯

I love this blanket, I am a little concerned that you have said how simple this project is, but have now watched it several times and have to say you do appear to struggle getting the hook through on numerous occasions particularly with the last stitch on each row. I am very much a novice so not sure I would be able to attempt this yet unfortunately.
