We live in Western Pa. and Have around 100 Acres of Land, About 1/2 is ours the rest is my moms, We have 4 kids and two grandchildren, 3 Golden Retrievers and one Cat. We enjoy working on our property and making improvements. We sell firewood and soon will be selling hardwood lumber.

That wood flattening machine brought back memories. Back in 1979 as an apprentice tool maker I ran a machine like that to cut steel plates

My grandfather had me treat his trailers (I did four for him in my teenage years) with a sprayer. The mix was half used motor oil and half diesel fuel. I have one of his trailers that I did this to in the late eighties. Still has the same wood on it. Hard as cement.

Here in Creek County Okla deer will come for miles around to rack my pine trees. Have to wrap chicken wire or mesh wire to protect the trees. Have a great evening..
We always took our Christmas tree, tied it up to the clothesline and put goodies on it for the birds. Got to enjoy it a bit longer that way.

Levi thanks for the demo on the dibble/ planting bar.. I’ve seen them before did not know who it was used.
The slab flattener segment was well produced, as was the trailer staining along with the tree planting. The way you put them together was done by a timeline of all. You didn't jump around in the placement. You explained the planer, then saw Melissa starting the power washing. Then the short segment of the tree planting which explained the entire process. Then back to the planer for the start of the project, back to Melissa as she started the staining, then back to the planer, back to the staining . You had each segment have an explanation as to what was going on and end results. I think the production went well. Kept you interested without a lot of fluff. You had an opener, content, and a closing segment. Great job!!

I like the video format - Keeps the viewers on our toes! You probably already have one but if you don’t, I’d consider buying a power washer flat surface disc. They aren’t expensive ($30-$50) for a half decent one. It would have taken Melissa less than 5 minutes to do the entire trailer deck, and I know you have lots of concrete surface now so it sure would come in handy. I felt like a fool doing our entire pool decking and patio areas that took 6-7 hours with the standard tip, for the better part of 20 years. My brother stopped by and saw me doing it that way, went to the store and came back with a disc. Ugh! I never thought of it. Now it only takes me 1 hour and my arms are not tired from swaying the tip back and forth a million times! Doh! That slab machine is amazing!

It's such a beast of a machine. I was both shocked and very happy with how heavy it was when helping unload it when Jay initially brought it over. Not much plastic on it at all.

That's a brilliant machine (the flattener) - note the drive mechanism where the cogs engage in the fixed lengths of chain - very smart.
The flattener is amazing, but that dust collection system is pretty great, too.
I'm pretty happy with the dust collection, too. :-) It's only the 1.5hp model, but for the short run in-house, it works out great in the shop
