    The dealer didnt swap it out. Most of the 2022-2023 TRD pros had to revert back to the original TRD PRO wheel because of production issues from the factory

      Thanks for the info. We actually learned that before the video published from another customer. It was a production issue that happened to some 2023 models. We just left it as we figure it’d be a catchy title. 😜 Quite surprised that this is the first 2023 that we’ve seen with it.

      Knows the title of the video is misleading and untrue. Leaves it up anyway 🙄

    It is a production issue. I have a '22 pro with the new style wheels. They might become a collecters item due to the switch back to the og pro wheels.

      I have the OG wheels on my 23 Lime Rush ORP and actually like them more.

      When did they switch the 23 back to the new style?

    No BMC for the solar octane needed?

    Are the front stock mudflaps always removed? Any way to keep them? Worried about the amount of rocks hitting the paint.

    • @88ROTORS
      @88ROTORS  Год назад

      Always removed to clear 285s. I haven’t seen anyone with rock chip issues.

      I have the stock mudflaps installed and mine has 285/70/17 bfg ko2. It’s lifted on eibach springs and bilstein 5100 on my 2021 limited

      @@user-ev1hn8do1j If you remove the mud flaps, you can run better caster with an alignment to perform better and clear offroad. I’m also guessing that you’re on stock UCA?

    • @user-ev1hn8do1j
      @user-ev1hn8do1j Год назад

      Yeah I am on stock uca. The car goes straight down the road so I never went with aftermarket as I didn’t feel there would be any benefit to having the caster brought back into factory spec
      Mine is like 99% of the lifted 4Runners and sees mostly paved roads

      you will definitely get pebbles hitting the paint. Rokblokz offers aftermarket mudflaps that fit the 33's tires. I've used it on the Dempster highway which is 900km of gravel road and didn't get too many rock chip.

    Good job on that black 4R. Would you recommend a front diff drop kit for it? Or not necessary?

    • @88ROTORS
      @88ROTORS  11 месяцев назад +2

      Not necessary. A lot of companies sell them because people want to buy them. But it has been proven not needed for a mid travel lift set up like this.

      @@88ROTORS thanks for the reply. I added a front spacer on my 20 ORP 4R and never added the diff drop kit for the front that was supplied. Just wondering if necessary.
