Thank you! I absolutely LOVE this movie !!! I've always liked that round since I was a kid growing up Catholic, "Dona Nobis Pacem," and it's so beautiful at the end. I like how it totally turns around my impression at the beginning, that the local pastor was just a drunk and the blonde priest was the "good guy." I also liked that note where he wrote "Kept" about the motorbike, LOL (the one he started out falling off of)

I'm not Catholic and I worship my Jesus Christ who gave His life for the sins of everyone. I'm glad the Nan quit pretending something he was not. So miracles happened in many way. A pretty good movie.
I am not Catholic, but I was really taken by surprise when the priest, Robert Redford, came out of the confessional and told the woman he knew what he knew about her. Very interesting perspectives in this film.
Now, now... well, first of all, the actor irradiates a different spirituality compared with Robert Redford. Domage. I had hope watching the first images. Secondly, this movie is an illustration of how important the chastity is for the single persons, for the married persons and for the consacrated persons. One does not promote the family values attacking the Holy Family and the Sacrament of Priesthood. And the Catholic Church. Jesus, Mercy!
We have the same like this kind of priest in our parish. He drinks and smokes but we don’t see that as a problem because our priest is also human too. We didn’t judge him. But every time he celebrates the mass he’s different and we respect the way he celebrates the mass. He was reassigned to another parish until we heard he died due to liver cirrhosis.
