    How they determine particular plant having fluctuations load . For ex if they have brushless alternator but In future they adding some fluctuating load is it possible to add auxillary winding in same brushless alternator... ?

    When using pmg, avr will get energise (supply) from pmg right, then why unnecessary we need to give the connection from main stator to avr. Please kindly some one explain.!!!

      OR
      Put ATS switch in manual mode if your using ATS Switch

      Alternator testing as per my knowledge,
      If anything I missed please include
      1. winding resistance test
      2. insulation resistance
      3.AVR condition
      4.protection relay (Differential,earth fault)testing
      5.Rotor excitation coil residual magnetism and Rotating rectifier healthiness test
      Resistance value changed based on alternator ratings
